Vicaris Triple-Gueuze is a Belgian Abbey Triple. A creamy white head billows above a honey-gold-colored beer. The nose has notes of tart vanilla and spice while a full body and long finish are perfectly balanced by the fine, dry gueuze.

This is a separate beer from Vicaris Tripel. It's a blend of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic. Served on draft at City Tap House in Philadelphia, PA.
Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with a one finger white foam head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Sporadic spots of lace left behind.
Interesting aroma with characterisitcs of both styles. Musty barnyard presence and lactic funk coutered by bready yeast, estery fruit notes, peppery spic and sweet alcohol. Some oak, hay and fain horseblanket followed by citrus peel, coriander, apple and pear. Has more of a tripel presence but the lambic/gueuze elements are in there as well.
Medium bodied with again, a balance of tripel and lambic flavors. As in the aroma, the tripel seems to be the larger percent of the blend but the funk and subtle acidity of a gueuze are there. Some peppery spice up front with light fruit esters, bread and alcohol coutered by earthy and lactic funk as well as some dry oak, citrus acidity and faint acetic vinegar in the finish. Pretty well balanced and refreshing but I wish the lambic component was a stronger part of the blend.

Unique Tripel/Geuze Blend. The Geuze is clearly the dominant force here with the Tripel adding some sweetness and Body/Alcohol.I liked this but didn't totally love it.

On it like a ping pong ball at a frat party. This one may not be a banger, but I’m still enjoying it well and good like Kesha on a slurpee filed with Smirnoff. It’s light and ok, and ok and light. Here Raul is. Here Raul goes. Believe it. Let’s go.

Drain pour. This beer is a failed experiment. Tripel and gueuze dont make sense together and it showed. Amber brown in color which makes no sense. No head whatsoever.
Aroma is kind of ok. Notes of fig, apple, cherry and bubblegum, though they dont all sing together. Flavor is confusing. Mouthfeel is flat, even by gueuze standards. Not enjoyable. Avoid.

From old, undated notes. Had this on draft.
Light, murky yellow color.
Bread, yeast and citrus in the nose.
A frothy head, and frothy lace.
Taste of malts, yeast & sour citrus; chewy mouthfeel makes this an enjoyable sipper.
Hot summer treat.

750ml brown bottle. No date coding found.
Honey gold colored body. Just a few bubbles with the initial pour but no head. No lacing.
Aroma of sweet cabbage and spice. Expresses with a little bit of vanilla.
Taste is sweet/sour with fruit, spices, and a little vanilla.
Medium mouth feel. Mediocre carbonation. Toward the dry side of a finish.
Disappointing appearance. Sweet/sour fruitiness with a touch of vanilla. With no bottling date to go by, I would guess the beer is not at its peak, based on how it expresses.

This brew, from a large, heavy bottle, is a brownish, hazy color. Nice head. The aroma is very malty. Fruity, lightly twangy...light spice. Belgian. The taste is at once both lightly sweet and tart. I get a lot of vanilla, some wood, plenty of malt, and a little funk. Wonderful finish...lightly bitter, nice flavor. Full in body.

Draft consumed in Paris. Medium gold color, not much nose (may have been lost in swirling cigarette smoke). Barest hunt of spice, typical Belgian bubble gum sweetness. Solid Belgian style.

Poured an orange body with one-finger head that sticks around. Aroma of spice, yeast, fruit esters and is slightly sour yet a fluffy sweetness that is like powdered sugar. Smooth, fluffy body with a dry, slightly sour and vinous taste and feel but love how that's an undercurrent to a more watery/juicy sugary fruit sweetness (kinda like how peaches and creme work) with clean finish and I really enjoyed this even if not true to style (per se).
