It was bottled Friday 1/27/17, I sampled it the next day at Homer Winterfest, and this review/rating is from a take-home bottle, at 1 week old. Perhaps why my score is higher?

It pours a medium amber, with moderate white head and lacing. Aroma is mostly citrus(hops), some floral notes, and some malt. Flavor is about the same, with the citrus being mostly grapefruit rind. Carbonation and feel are moderately fine/smooth.
Overall, nothing "wow", but a good, solid IPA.

Poured in a flight so a small head of white foam, orange body slight haze Good tight foam and good lace. Nose was sweet orange with candied orange peel, tart citrus with lemon, a hint of melon. There was some hop floral and a light bread malt with a little honey to back it up. The sweet fruit greets the palate with lots of orange. Tangerine, a little tart lemon to offset that and the sweet fruit rind in back. Medium carbonation. The malt sweetness is faint and there's a bit of peach that comes out as ti warms. There's even a touch of the peach pit and pithy sour with a nice hop bitter and a little oil to coat the back of the throat. A light pepper and a soft faint spice. The aftertaste is sweet and hop herbal, dry and with that ripe peach.

I thought this was a very well done offering from Bandwagon Brewpub here in Ithaca NY. The malt is understated and the canvas for some tempting and sweet fruits. The spice is soft and stays that way. Amenable, and inviting. The nose is succulent and a real treat on this one.

Comes in a hazy amber color, with a big white head that leaves tons of lacing.
The nose is pine, caramel, toffee, a bit of orange marmelade.
The taste is caramel, toffee, and toast. There is some big orange pith, and then a lingering pungent bitterness of earth, pine sap, orange pith and grass.
Medium mouthfeel, with lingering bitterness.

Had a pint of this IPA on tap at 'The Bandwagon' Brew Pub in Ithaca.
Hazy orange color in the glass with a nice one finger foamy head that dissipated fairly slowly.
Aroma had a lot of diacetyl (butterscotch) with hints of vanilla and some fruity esters.
The aroma translates into the taste with lots of butterscotch and sweet notes upfront to the middle. The hop bitterness hits the palate right at the finish and lingers around for quite some time.
Definitely a 'different' IPA in more ways than one.
Good mouthfeel and drinkability.
Overall, if the diacetyl was slightly subdued somehow, I think this would be a good IPA.
