A scottish-influenced bar with both nice beer and a better than standard single malt whisky selection.

This bar is located in one of Kalmars hotells (Stadshotellet). The room is rather large but due to the high celing it feels more like a dining room than a bar.

This bar is located a bit from the "bar-main-street" in Kalmar, so late in the evening there is almost always free tables. But between 17.00 and 19.00 every day it's really crowded since you can buy a buffet with a beer (40 cl of Falcon Export) for only 39 SEK, about 5,40 USD.

The buffet isn't of highest quality, but if you eat from the menu the food is well prepared and tastes great.

They serve the beers in proper glasses for each beer-style. And they can help you with special beer-requests.

Their regular selection of beers isn't very impressive (mostly standard beers), but they always got a great additional selection of temporary beers.
