Deep amber/orange color when poured with a nice two finger light tan/off white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of grass and pine. Hops dominate the flavor, tons of citrus fruit notes and resiny hops. Some floral/grass notes and the malt is faintly apparent in the background. Hides the ABV pretty well but it is still clear this is a high ABV beer, but not in a bad way. Very smooth, almost creamy finish and medium body and carbonation. Alcohol present at the end of the swallow. A very enjoyable DIPA that I will definitely search out again.

L: Pours brilliant copper-amber crowned by a clingy 2” white to off-white foam cap S: Big grassy nose along with an array of additional hop notes – pine and citrus under the grass with some spice and biscuit.T: Very rich hop flavors. Some initial sweetness but dries out on the finish. A suspicion of mint in the finish (most likely from the hops), also pepper. There is an assertive hop bitterness but it is well balanced with all the hop flavors – the grass, the mint, citris, pine, over the malts and yeast fruit – very well done. F: Very creamy, medium to medium low carbonation, medium body, alcohol warming in the finish O: Very good handling of the hops and a very interesting result.

Looks absolutely outstanding - brilliant orange and deep peach, like the sun setting just above the horizon. Fluffy, creamy white head looks like the frothy caps of an incoming wave. Is there an ideal looking beer? Leaves rings like a tree all the way down the glass.

As you'd expect, pretty big in the nose - citrus like a tangerine, fleshy like a peach, floral. Maybe not as pungent as I'd expected.

Alcohol at the fore, fire-breathing hops afterwards - juicy, peach flesh, orange marmalade.

Mildly prickly on the tongue, very smooth, sits heavy on the tongue for just a minute and then it's gone, like evaporation.

A good one, but not great or ground-breaking.
