A rich, murky dark orange color.
Frothy off-white head with staying power; thick lacing throughout.
Great citrus nose, touch o' malt on the back end. I'm excited.
Grapefruit & apple juice taste upfront; nice malty backbone.
Thick mouthfeel.
I find that a good Belgian IPA always has a tad of an apple juice factor (see Goose Island Jinx). A bit too bitter & boozy to be exemplary, but I guarantee I'll have another sometime.

Deep amber/orange color when poured with a nice two finger light tan/off white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of grass and pine. Hops dominate the flavor, tons of citrus fruit notes and resiny hops. Some floral/grass notes and the malt is faintly apparent in the background. Hides the ABV pretty well but it is still clear this is a high ABV beer, but not in a bad way. Very smooth, almost creamy finish and medium body and carbonation. Alcohol present at the end of the swallow. A very enjoyable DIPA that I will definitely search out again.

L: Pours brilliant copper-amber crowned by a clingy 2” white to off-white foam cap S: Big grassy nose along with an array of additional hop notes – pine and citrus under the grass with some spice and biscuit.T: Very rich hop flavors. Some initial sweetness but dries out on the finish. A suspicion of mint in the finish (most likely from the hops), also pepper. There is an assertive hop bitterness but it is well balanced with all the hop flavors – the grass, the mint, citris, pine, over the malts and yeast fruit – very well done. F: Very creamy, medium to medium low carbonation, medium body, alcohol warming in the finish O: Very good handling of the hops and a very interesting result.
