Appearance: pours a hazy gold and orangish color, with a thin off-white foam head. Medium carbonation.
Aroma: Grassy and malty, with subtle hoppy overtones.
Taste: Follows the nose. Grassy and malty, with a fruity, hoppy backbone and a surprisingly bitter bite throughout the finish.
Overall: This one right here is different from most other Pale Ales I've had. Malt dominant for sure, but balanced nicely with an array of hops.

From notes 5/11/13: Pours a clear deep gold producing 1.5 fingers of rapidly fading, white, finely bubbled foamy head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is subdued citrus and pine, overwritten by a vegetable/faintly cabbage like essence with faint hints of caramel and cotton candy. Taste is thin grapefruit and pine with semisweet caramel malt that intensifies in sweetness with time. Finishes clean, dry and bitter. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with a strong carbonation bite.

Had at Dreamland, Tuscaloosa, poured from 12-oz. can, no date, into clear plastic beer cup.
Fruity, spicy, and malty, Naked Pig is an interesting and drinkable APA.
