40 oz. bottle into an IPA glass
A - Moderate pour produces a 2 finge head that is rich and foamy in appearance and is off white with a slight orange tint in color. Head dissipates very slowly. The beer itself is clear and old amber in color with light carbonation. Small bubbles can be seen rising lazily towards the surface. 4/5
S - Very hop forward aroma with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, and papaya. Sweet caramel malt undertone provides a base for the hops to work from. Sweet and citrusy overall. 4/5
T - Light caramel sweetness up front along with a bit of buttered wheat bread. This very quickly moves into the hop flavors of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, and papaya although these are not as pronounced as expected based on the aroma. Just a bit of pine along with the citrus evens things out a bit from the tropical flavors and helps bring out the malt base. Pine resin dominates the very back end with a lingering bitterness that stays around for quite some time. 3.75/5
M - Smooth and creamy up front then transitioning to a carbonation tickle that persists throughout the sip. Medium bodied. Not drying in the slightest which is a bit odd for such a hop forward beer. 3.75/5
O -Definitely a hop forward beer that packs some hop punch, especially in regard to tropical aromas and then a multitude of hop flavors. Layers of hop flavors for the hop head to enjoy and savor. Not the most balanced beer in terms of sweet and bitter but a good beer nonetheless. 3.75/5

Got this at the brewery because they were having a very limited batch and wanted to try it before it was all gone.
A - Deep orange color. Clear with very fine white head with moderate lacing.
S - Very strong hop fragrance with lots of citrus fruit. Could smell it before I picked it up. Almost perfume like from the magnitude of aromatics.
T - Great flavor with a full fruit hop character with alcohol and malt to give a nice robust flavor. There is some pine, floral, and herbal hints but dominated by citrus. Light bitterness for such high IBUs but that is due to the larger amount of late additions. Light malt and caramel character through the hops.
M - Strong mouth-feel with fine carbonation. Lingering finish with hops, malt, and alcohol.
Overall, THE BEST IIPA I've had thus far. Great aroma, flavor, feel, appearance, and anything else you would desire in a beer. This brew isn't for the faint of heart but if you like bigger and hoppier beer this is one that you have to get your hands on. It's a limited release so you've got to get lucky to get a taste.
