From the bottle.

There was no head and light carbonation, a little bit of lacing on the top. The beer is hazy and very pale in color. The first smell I got was of sulfur immediately after pouring, but that faded slowly to just sweet light malt smell. I don't really get the hops in the nose at all. The taste is very pleasing, it almost reminds me of a kolsch that I had while I was in Germany, but not quite as clean. The taste tends towards the malt, the bitterness just sort of brings it towards balance but nothing substantial there. It feels a little thin to drink but it coats the front of my tongue, nothing lingers in the back of my mouth. Overall it is a good beer if you are going to sit down and have a few, I place it at a touch above average craft blondes.

On tap into a pint glass

A - Beer is a very pale straw in color and clear with moderate carbonation and bubbles rising moderately quickly. Head is thin, frothy, and white. Head dissipates rather quickly to a thin lacing. 3.5/5

S - Very muted. Light sweet maltiness as well as clean, grassy hops are really the only notes that I get. As the beer warms a note of pear comes out as well. 3.5/5

T - Very light sweet maltiness as well as fresh white bread are the initial flavors to the tasting. Seems to be a pilsner malt based on taste. In the middle I am getting peach, pear, and a light stone fruit. Grassy hops on the back end with a light bitterness round out the flavor profile. 4.25/5

M - Very light and crisp. Carbonation tickle due to moderate carbonation. Not really as drying as I expected it to be. More of a smooth lightness than a dry lightness. 4.25/5

O - Not the typical blonde ale but very good nonetheless. Pear is a bit odd for a blonde but this beer remains a nice light offering. 4/5

First had Six Foot Blonde at Big Woods Pizza/Quaff ON!, Nashville, Indiana, on draft into tumbler. Easy-drinking but with enough malt flavor to give interest before a clean finish.

poured from the tap to a Guinness imperial pint glass a murky honey'd orange with no head.

aroma of light citrus and lemon rind, an a bit of spiciness in the back.

tasty, but perhaps a bit flat. a well bodied wheat, malty, with lemon and spice.

thick and near syrupy, smooth, imperceptible carbonation.

drinkable - yeah, but it's one and done for me on this one. maybe it's a flat keg ?

A - murky honey, no head to speak of.

S - very muted hint of biscuits. I tried to let it warm up in hopes of getting more smell... nothing.

T - sour upfront, with some orange notes. Overall there just wasn't much there.

M - nonexistent. There was nothing there after the initial sip.

Overall, not a terrible beer, but I wouldn't order it again.
