A huge disappointment from maybe Canada's best brewery. But like the last review read, this is Unibroue's "beer for the masses". Simple, bland, & light it is Unibroue's version of Labatt Blue or Molson Canadian.

U Blond Pilsner bought a 15 bottles for 16,99 plus tax
Look: Hazy yellow color. In the begining about 1 to 2 fingers of white head and does fades quickly.
Smell: Grassy hops.
Taste: Wheat and a touch of grassy hops
Feel: Light to medium body. Light to medium carbonation also.
So overall would I recommend it ? As a Unibroue: No, as a beer overall why not and if you can get it on special that even better.

Thanks to jmalex for this one.
This one pours a slightly dark straw color. The head fades quickly and leaves a collar of little bubbles.
Smells of cheap basement beer, with lots of not-barley grains and musty, boring dryness.
Tastes of light crackers and toasty breads with a light, woody hop. The cheap, grainy sourness of the other “U” series beers isn’t as prevalent in this one, which makes it stand out.
Feels a little thick for the style, but it’s still plenty drinkable.
Nothing special here at all. Tastes cheap.
