Poured into a pint glass.

A: Slightly hazy golden color with some particles and two-finger, white, fizzy head that lasted a couple of minutes. Not much lacing.

S: Fruit and grass.

T: Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Light grain flavor. Some citrus. Not bad.

M: Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Crisp.

O: This is an average witbier. I was expecting something a little better from Unibroue, but it's not bad.

Poured from a 750 mL bottle into a pint glass

Appearance: Poured gold with some cloudiness starts with a thick head that disappears in minutes into a paper thin line that laces nicely as you drink.

Smell: Fruity, citrus, and sour grass with undertones of wheat and yeast

Taste: wheat stays on the tongue but my pallete soon becomes overwhelmed with lemony sour grassiness that stays.

Mouthfeel: overwhelming carbonation reminds me of perrier water

Overall: The sour grassiness and carbonation overwhelms this beer for me. I'd much prefer the complexity and bubble gum flavor of hoegaarden.

Poured from a 750mL bottle. Cloudy yellow brew, very nice head with a pretty good retention. The smell is amazing, mostly citrus notes with strong yeast aromas, very powderish. Taste is very good and confirms the aromas. For me, the major downfall is the pretty high carbonation. Otherwise, it's an excellence brew, full of aromas and very refreshing!

Thanks to BeersoftheWorld staff member,

Poured into a Weizen glass. Comes out as a hazy straw color, very nice white head, but disappears quickly. The wheat makes for a lighter color and flavor. Very yeasty.

Detecting quite a myriad of spices. Most prominent are coriander and orange peel.

Taste is crisp with a light hoppiness and flavors of citrus and spice. Very nice carbonation, which makes for a very smooth, almost buttery, beer.

Definitely recommend.
