Wow another great beer from unibroue. I like la fin du monde better personally but just by a little. This stuff really is "holy water"

Appearance - Pours a murky light golden 2 fingers creamy head that lasts a while. As it fades a film remains. looks like so much more carbonation than the other unibroue beers ive tried.

Aroma - Citrus smells Grapefruit and orange, belgian yeast (bready and spicy).

Taste -The spice hits your tonge first followed by some orange peel a little bit of corriander and banana.

Mouth feel - medium light body creamy carbonation, very feels like a 5 percent alcohol. wow

Overall - Another great example of a tripel style from unibroue.

Bottle came from a summer sampler 12-pack "selected by Unibroue's beer sommelier." Even the most gentle of pours results in three, four, five fingers of head that recede only slowly, down to a finger or so, leaving a lot of lacing on the glass.

Smell is clove, banana, orange peel, tart, yeasty, wheaty, lemony, slight apple. Taste is shockingly light for 7.7% ABV, the flavours echoing the smell. Slightly tangy, tart, yeasty, clove, orange, wheat, malt. Slight copper? Carbonation is high, but perhaps not as high as Unibroue's other Belgian beers, and the body is nice but doesn't give away the high alcohol at all.

A tripel that smells and tastes more like a Belgian witbier. And that's not a critique; this is a very nice beer. Perhaps best thought of as La Fin Du Monde's more easy-going little sister--though she, too, still packs a punch.

Eau Benite from Unibroue

The look of it: Very yellow, about 2 fingers of head.

The smell of it: Citrus with a touch of orange.

The taste of it: Wow, doesn't feel like a 7,7% ABV. Lots of Citrus and some orange on the taste. Goes down very easily. It is smooth. A very nice tasting beer. Feels like a White beer.

So overall would I recommend it? For damn sure. If you can find that beer go get it. Feels like a Hoegaarden or 1664 blanc. This is a kind of a beer you can get f*** up with and you won t even notice it. I will buy this again !

This may be my favorite trippel. It was a very strong piercing beer with a lot of flavor and sweetness as well. The smell of fruit and hops filled the glass as I poured it and the champagne like bubbles were overwhelmingly graceful! The aromas were fantastic! Then after a quick settle the taste of this was just perfect! It was sweet and warming, and the unfiltered goodness fills your mouth with malty flavors. I highly suggest trying the "holy water" and giving Canada a thumbs up for one GREAT beer!
