This is an amazingly tasty beer. Listed as an 'Imperial White', you've got a really strong wheat beer here with an IBU of 10.5 and loads of yeasty complexity in the mix. A truly splendid mellow sipper dropping notes galore and it does even better if you let it cellar for at least a few months, IMO.

It's an amazing, unique beer from what is probably my favorite brewer.

Bit of an ugly duckling, with a nice frothy white head and intricate lacing. Perky, apple/pear strudel with apricot/banana icing. Mask's it's alcohol with initial sweet wheat and quick dry tart finish. No linger. Light on the tongue. Compact, but a lot going on. Extremely enjoyable beer to throw in the mix. Definite palate cleanser, but a treat, not in a derogatory way.

It pours somewhat hazy and with a huge head. The aroma is of sour wheat, candi sugar and of yeast. The flavor is well balanced between sweetness, bitterness and mild sourness. Full bodied and with a smooth texture.

Poured into a tall tulip. Hazy copper-orange with a constant ring of thin white head. Aroma is of yeast with hints of lavender and green apple. Taste is wonderfully sweet and complex. Mouth is medium bodied, creamy smooth and with medium carbonation...just right. Overall, a delicious Belgian ale.

From Saveur-Biere. In La Trappe chalice. Watching Los Soprano 6x04-05. Full of apple notes and some white grapes. Strong yet pleasant carbonated feeling with zesty spices that invites to short, very enjoyable sips

Another shout out to my big bro for leaving this behind in my Dad's fridge for little bro to enjoy....and enjoy I did! Major complex infused flavors going on here. These Belgian ales are something else...so sweet and smooth yet hop evident. Wow! Outrageous stuff!

Appearance: cloudy; orangish-white body; effervescent; medium frothy white head, slight lacing

Smell: spicy; citrusy; yeasty

Taste: a bit of peppery spice with citrus; very well balanced and delicious

Mouthfeel: kind of creamy feel from the carbonation

Remarks: one of my new favorites. Definitely look for this again.
