Hazy with a very tropical smell. Tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit aroma notes. Floral, tropical taste. Good mouthfeel, maybe a little too bitter for a pale. Great balance. Very good pale ale.

Poured into a small chalice: color is hazy straw gold, head is off white with fine to small bubbles, presents about 1/2 inch thick, head lingers well and provides spotty lacing on the glass sides with a solid top.

Smell is lightly tropical, some citrus rind, herbs, pretty fresh, but not much malt character.

Taste is similar to aroma with citrus, some tropical fruits, herbs, a little more malt presence with light biscuit.

Mouthfeel is moderate with light bitterness, lingering dryness.

Overall a good beer, but not quite sure I see as exceptional - easy drinking hop presence but just needs some more malt.

Each year, this extraordinary APA becomes more elusive. This year, I was able to bag 3 sixers at our local Total Wine. Had the last one today (they miraculously lasted three weeks), and sadness has set in. Worth the hunt in every way.

Not a big fan of Lagunitas beers honestly but this one pleasantly surprised me.

L-Slighty hazy golden color with a tight bubble fluffy white head.
S-Definitely stone fruit forward with a light malt but juicy for sure. They were not lying about the smell of fresh hops coming through in the nose.
T-Mosaic Mosaic Mosaic!!!! Peach with a familiar blueberry kick from that lovely hop. Has a slight malt kick but does not over power the juicy notes. Bitterness does not linger very long but deffinaly let's you know it's there.
F-As with others lagunitas, a very light body but something you would expect.

Overall great offering and would deffinaly buy this one again.

Bottle borned on 10/16/17
L: Poured a beautiful bright and pale yellow orange.
S: Strong aroma of juicy fruity fresh hops with a touch of dankness, apricot and peach. Very good.
T: Hop candy in liquid form! Not too sweet, not too bitter. Very good.
F: Nice zesty zing of carbonation. Light to medium mouthfeel. Very good.
O: Pale Ale??? Come on, I wasn't "born yesterday" (ha ha), this thing has DIPA flavor running through it's veins, just a little thinner, lighter and milder, but not much. I've been writing the review as I sip and admire, then it happened, as I hoped it would... Born Yesterday hit the sweet spot in temperature; it's like everything comes together in agreement. The bitterness subsides and lets the hops dazzle your palate with their smooth and rich hoppy goodness. IF this is a Pale Ale, then it's the best drinking and most flavorful Pale I've ever had. Thanks to MBLWAFLTM for this gift!
