Bottled 15 days ago.

Pours semi-hazy gold with a thin white head.

The nose is pineapple, honey, pine sap, and faint berry.

The taste follows. Citrus, faint berry from the Mosaic hops, and dank weedy green.

The mouthfeel is medium. Well-carbonated and smooth.

Overall, very good. A pure expression of fresh hops. Old school, new school...the whole shebang.

Pours a clear, bright yellow with a white, fluffy head. Smells of pine, grapefruit peel, tropical fruits. Taste is complex and well balanced. Citrus, notably grapefruit, tropical fruits, and pine, with a solid but soft malt backbone. Decent hop bitterness. Lighter body than expected, certainly crisp. Overall, delicious and easy to drink.

11 days old.
Moderate pour yields a 5/8 inch white head over a very bright, straw (with a touch of amber) colored body with some lacing. Nose of tropical fruit, citrus, and a touch of pine resin. Taste mirrors nose but with flavors that are far superior to the nose's aromas. Damn, this is delicious! Sweet citrus and all kinds of tropical fruit with a pine resin finish. Very nice feel and overall, I'll be getting more of this. Cheers!

My favorite beer from Lagunitas. "Borned 10/8/2018" printed on the neck.

12 ounce bottle poured into tulip glass

L: Golden and hazy, definitely an unfiltered brew
S: These hops will knock your socks off (dam!), huge tropical notes, lingering pine
T: This beer actually tastes green, very hop forward with nice malt backbone and bitter finish
F: Warm and velvety
O: I love this beer

I look forward to this beer every fall, and wow, it’s as good as ever! My favorite from Lagunitas and the best fresh hop ale I can get my mitts on at this point. So herbal, weedy, tropical, hoppy, it just has everything I like in a great IPA. A nice golden color, mediumish mouththfeel, and doesn’t have an abundance of cloudiness or floaties for an unfiltered. 5 days old, too, so I will be buying more as long as I can find it since it will be fresher than most of the hoppy ales that are normally out there.

Born 10/8/18, consumed 10/17/18

L: Mostly clear honey color, small head, ok lacing.

S: Nice, full, fresh danky herbal, weedy, and floral hop notes blended with a mix of citrus/tropical fruit ones.

T: Fresh, delicious, uber-hoppy flavors, again more green/herbal/weedy with some fruity notes to blend things out.

F: Medium, smooth, great carbonation and body, some solid bitterness that works nicely with the hop profile. Good clean finish.

O: This is probably the best value rotating release for the fresh hop season that you'll find. Absolutely one of if not the best beers Lagunitas brews in their vast lineup. Even if you love wasting your money on crazy priced local cans every week, this is a for sure must buy.

Great, Delicious crushable pale ale. I appreciate the length they go to make this beer the freshest, well crafted big brewery beer that u can get your hands on. The aromas are incredibly, I wish for some citra in this tho, but otherwise Good job laguinatas.
