Poured on tap at Churchkey into a Becher glass.

Bright big brass dark yellow body, with really fast rising carbonation and a buttery dark appearance, nearly crystal clear. Creamy bone white top with good lacing and one finger head presented.

Great aroma on this beer. Big tropical and citrus juiced hop action, some minor florals, and a real minty angle. Some dough chew action seems to kick through as well.

Palate hits great. Wonderful fruit basket filled hop quality in the mid palate. Big orange and tangerine qualities, maybe even some mango to mix it up a bit as well. Great popping carbonation and a spritzy mint aftertaste. Solid classic malt depth and coating with a good amount of sticky and tangy flavor. A classic dry and crisp finish even manages to come out on the finish too.

A great beer from these guys, they did real well on this one.

@ Tasty Beverage

Bright brass with a white head that leaves some nice strings of lace. Hoppy aroma, though not super aromatic...grassy, citrusy hops, green grapes, and a herbal, spicy edge. Fresh, clean hoppy flavor, crisp and green sort of like a handful of hop pellets. A light malt sweetness runs through the middle, but it finishes hoppy like it starts, only in more of a traditional peppery, spicy way. Surprisingly light bodied for it's strength, maintaining the crispness that I want from anything including the word "Pilsner" in its title. Good tingly carbonation and a restrained bitterness make for pleasantly easy drinking. Nice!

Had on-tap at Barley's Asheville. Served in a goblet.

A- Pours a clean medium golden color with a 1/2 inch white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of sheer surface foam. Semi-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.

S- Signature Lagunitas house yeast/resinous hop aroma. Orangey citrus. Delightful.

T- Taste mirrors the nose with a mild but certainly noticeable bitterness. So smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. Cracker-like malt.

M- The characteristic that surprised me the most. So soft and creamy for a pilsner. How'd they do that? Medium carbonation and a light body.

O- Although they only do one thing, they do it so damn well. Probably the best pilsner I've ever had. If this were to come out in cans for the summer, I'd buy it by the 12-pack. So deliciously crushable.
