Orange amber in color there is a nice thin layer of lacing that holds for a generous amount of time.
Very intricate nose. There's some clove, light banana and mild citrus. Some floral hops peeking around the corner with good malt presence as well. Very layered for a cream ale.
The palate is very focused with the hops and malts hold hands tightly. For being over 7%, there is little to no alcohol heat which is lovely and welcoming. There are no tangents on this one. I don't feel the need to completely dissect it, just enjoy it. I have no problem with that at all.
The mouthfeel is, you guessed it, creamy with a healthy amount of bitterness riding my tongue for quite a while after swallowing. I found this beer to be very very drinkable. I may be afraid to stand up after about three of them, but my taste buds may ask me for more and more.

Here comes a review of one of my least favorite Lagunitas beers ever. Legit surprised it is listed as a cream ale, really thought it was so hot it would be tripel.
Pours an amber honey like color with 1/2" white head, good clarity. Aroma was boozy. Good amount of caramel going on. Interesting, wasn't sure what to make of it at this point.
Taste was again, hot, like fusel alcohol hot. Nothing like a cream ale, was just getting booze blasted all the way on this one. Its astringently bitter strange enough. What the hell am I drinking? Carbonation was fine on it. What a weird beer, super boozy, a bit of red/amber ale feels, a yeast that made me think it was a tripel almost, or maybe it was just the burn of alcohol here combined with a bitterness that made the entire experience seem like it was misbranded. If boozy metallic bitter cream ales are your thing, step on up.
