Had on tap at the Pig & fiddle L: A hazy straw pour with a thin film of bubbles on top. S: Citrusy green apple aromas dominate. Malt aromas are medium low. Hop aromas are hard to sort out from the apples. T: Starts with big fruit flavors, tart, green apple, apple spice, light citrus. Fruit flavors medium, tartness medium, malt medium low, hop flavors low, hop bitterness medium. F: Medium light to light body, medium high carbonation. O: A very interesting, refreshing tart beer.

This is a well balanced and very inviting light sour that is super drinkable and pleasing. Tons of apple tones/smells/flavors in all aspect of this beer. Fresh, lightly tart and a very nice drink if you like apples and a well balanced fruit light sour.

On tap at BC's Pizza & Beer

A: Pours slightly hazy golden straw with a creamy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some nice lacing.

S: Fruity, peach, passion fruit, slightly tart, some citrus zest, a hint of green apple, and maybe a touch of light malt.

T: Tart, pleasant green apple, citrus, lemon zest, fruity notes, passion fruit and peach, and a little light kinda crackery malt.

M: Light to medium body, prickly carbonation.

O: I wasn't expecting to see this one in my area so I'm stoked to get to try it. Not what I was expecting, but a very unique pleasant surprise. I never would have thought this combo would work so well. I dig it.

So this is the Daytime session IPA mixed with apple juice. Really quite a good fall time opportunity. The hops take a back seat here as the criso tart apples take center stage. Little bit of sourness on the backend and a measured sweetness. The Daytime really just provides a backbone here. Nice dry perry/cider style finish. I could easily knock a few of these back on a sunday afternoon whilst watching sports.

This was not what I expected, but it was still pretty tasty. It's super crisp (I found the carbonation to be a bit much even though I usually prefer carbonation levels to be on the high end) and goes down really easy. The taste is much more tart than expected (although it tastes fresh and is perfect for either summer or autumn), which again, I don't like fruit beers that are too sweet, but I would have liked a bit more balance to cut the tartness. Hop presence is also surprisingly minimal. Definitely worth trying, but the high level of tartness coupled with the huge carbonation made the pint actually somewhat difficult to finish even though I did enjoy drinking it.
