Appears a glowing orange golden hue with a magnificant sized white head leaving very fine lace behind great looking brew. Aromatics are malty with some Saaz backing the nice malt characater up some grassy notes very nice with some bready yeast tones hanging around as well from the bottle conditioning. Taste, upfront bready with a great finishing zesty peppery hops but a smooth vanilla like malt character ties everything together. Mouthfeel is light to medium in body decent carbonation and one very drinkable beer to boot, tasty and refreshing a winning combonation every time.

Poured from multiple 12oz bottles into my Moonlight shaped pint glass.

Clear gold body with a fluffy whipped ivory head which recedes slowly to a half finger and a ridge of battlements. Sticky thick lacing, no legs.

Crackery, grainy, pale malty, lager aromas with a hint of floral noble hops maybe in the nose.

Sweet at first, then mildly bitter and grassy with a touch of mint and eucalyptus. Crisp finish, with maybe the vaguest whisper of diacetyl (though it is more likely a quality of one of the malts utilized).

Well carbonated, light bodied, and refreshing.

Slightly sweet for the style maybe...and lacking the purity of the best examples (such as Moonlight's), this is still a decent lager when you are in the mood for one.

It does have a slight buttery feel and slightly noticeable yeast like some Czech versions are said to. However, the overall carbonation seems off a little. It has a very frothy head. Not nearly as fizzy/sparkly as I expect. The hop profile seemed a little weak too, which was odd, so I checked the date and found it was a March bottle. That could be most of it. This is good, but it doesnt scream Pilsner to me. Actually one of my 2 least favorite beers from them

The beer is a very pale clear color, reminds me of white grape juice, maybe a little more yellow. The head was thick and foamy, coating my glass. There was mild carbonation. The beer smells bready and a little farm-like. The taste is a little light, you get a little bready flavor followed by some farm and spice flavors. The beer is light bodied and medium carbonation in the mouth feel.

Had this in Lagunitas Tasting Room. I am not huge Pilsner guy so I tend to have a hard time digging them. I just tend to feel the flavors are just not there for me. Although this Pilsner is very standard with that token Lagunitas taste. All in all this is a hopped out Pilsner and fits the description from Lagunitas.
