Poured an opaque black into a snifter. Decent brown head.

Smelled of blended light coffee, does the cappuccino name justice. Roasted malts and a bit of a nutty/earthy character.

Taste was of creamy coffee. Slight bit of caramel and malts to it. It had a pepper taste to it. The taste was close to a brew made with chipotle peppers, minus the warming heat at the end. It was a little odd and unexpected but it didn't kill the beer by any means.

Smooth and creamy. Nothing harsh here, it was nicely balanced beer.

It's good, and easily drinkable. It's got a richness to it that isn't in your face. A bit of a middle of the road with this one. Glad I had it, and have more but at the same time I'm not going to stretch myself to gather it up whenever I see it.

Found it a bit on the thin side, but the coffee/espresso notes on the nose and the mouth were very pleasant. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Drinkable and very affordable at 5 bucks a bomber!

It pours a dark brown close to black yielding the same color body. A one inch foamy off-white/tan head appears and lasts for a good minute before slowing dieing into the body of my nonic. Some nice spotty appears and gently slides to the bulb of the nonic pint. The smell has the cappuccino coffee up front with some roasty malts in the background covered by some light chocolate notes, wow, really impressive. The taste is bittersweet between the cappuccino coffee and the chocolate and malts, awesome balance between the two. The palate is about a medium to heavy perhaps due to the fairly high ABV. Its not exactly a very drinkable beer, but no worries, it just fits its style very well. It still coats the tongue and mouth very smoothly. Overall, this is an excellent beer.

S: Bold coffee, lots of fruit, coffee oil, some cocoa.

L: Very dark brown, tan head that dissipates.

T: Sweet coffee malt with a dark chocolate finish. Some slight fruity bitterness. Touch of sweetness in the finish with roastiness. Somewhat sweet.

M: Medium bodied, medium-low carbonation.

Really enjoyed this beer, could barely detect the alcohol. Coffee was pretty solid, but there were some off notes that i detected. I'd be curious as how they added the coffee in this beer.

Bomber that poured an almost black but with some reddish hues highlighting the edges of the glass. Thin tan head that fades quickly.

Aroma was dark roasted coffee with not much else going on.

The flavor is a bit more complex than the aromas gave off. Strong dark roasted coffee flavors. Some hints of chocolate and silky vanilla flavor. Nice balance of sweet and bitter.

The beer is a medium bodied. With a thick chewy mouthfeel. Good balance and very easy to drink. I didn't think it was exceptional by any means but another solid offering from Lagunitas.
