A: looks like a stout, very dark coffee black. Little bit of head on the just barely covering
S: sweetness, coffee and espresso aromas. Was expecting a little more
T: very sweet. Looks of coffee, kind of does remind me of a cappuccino or macchiato. A little harshness like eating dark chocolate.
M: a little syrupy, with medium carbonation
O: pretty awesome for the price, was only $3.99 for a bomber, hard to beat

I enjoyed this very much, not a thick stout at all. But very good layering to this stout. You can taste the coffee, chocolate, and cappuccino aspects in different ways. They hit the taste buds at different times, which is great.

This is a sessionable stout.

a = light brown, almost slighty watered down cappuccino. minimal head, slight lace.

smell = a nice coffee aroma. roasted malt.

taste = a strong forefront of coffee flavor. it does have a cappuccino flavor with a hoppy end. Kind of fall short on the coffee flavor. i would like a longer linger in the coffee flavor.

mouthfeel = a strong coffee feel, but seems light for a stout.

overall = good stout beer to end a night. i think it would pair well with some dessert.

comments = overal good coffee brewed stout beer. when thinking of a cappuccino stout, i was looking for a creamy flavor that would coat the tongue. Almost like the creme from a fresh brewed shot of espresso. i have another bottle that i will attempt to age. i think it will taste much better with time.

Pours a little on the thin side but nice creamy, off white head. Not as black as I'd expect for a stout. Aroma of bittersweet chocolate and coffee along with a distinct happiness. Cold coffee flavor with a fairly strong hop presence. The coffee and hops along with the hight alcohol lend an almost chili pepper flavor. For a beer called cappuccino stout I expect something more creamy. This beer is just too thin bodied. It's a nice coffee stout but it really needs more body.

Pours a surprisingly light nut brown, which settles into a dark black in the glass, with red highlights. Thick foamy 3 finger beige head, good retention, and tons and tons of lacing.

Huge chocolate malt notes with equally huge coffee notes; slightly fruity booziness in the background, a hint of cream, and an impression of dry grains and bananas.

Flavor does not disappoint, with sweet and dark chocolate up front, and dark coffee (not burnt) following. Earthy hops are noticeable, but without imparting much distinct flavor. Aftertaste starts to run a little flat and watery after a while.

Thick and silky, full mouthfeel. Long, long lasting finish that only turns dry after about a minute.

This is a solid, tasty stout. Definitely a dessert-like sipper.
