Bottle. Poured into my Lagunitas jar.
Appearance. Pours a beautifully clear perfect copper color with two fingers beige head. Foamy. Nice retention. Super sticky lacing lines the glass.
Aroma: Carmelized sugar, brown sugar is pretty prominent on the nose. Orange/grapefruit hops and hints of some pine. Little booze. Interesting.
Taste: Brown sugar sweetness hits right off the bat. Mellows out to give some nice complex and sweet flavor and malt. Not overly sweet though. Citrusy and piney hops creep up in the back and mesh with a little bit of alcohol heat. This stuff offers pretty good complexity and an overall amazing flavor.
Mouthfeel: Thick fuller body, almost chewy mouthfeel. soft carbonation works well to make it a nice little sipper. Awesome finish that walks the line between btween bitter and a touch of alcohol heat. Amazingly drinkable at 10%.
Lagunitas can do NO wrong.

Local beer store had this as a single and I took a chance. First of all, I couldn't find any dates or date codes anywhere on the bottle.
Poured cloudy brownish color with a tan head. The smell is sweet and almost of a maple syrup. The flavor is sweet and has a warmth boozie feel. A decent beer, if you like sweetness in your beers. Not my kind of beer but hey, it was a one off shot.

Pours a hazy amber. Thick foam. Malty aroma. Big flavors. Bitter hop body followed my syrupy malt sweetness. Light brown sugar finish. You can taste the alcohol. Complex but well balanced. An excellent strong ale.

One of my old favorites, this is a big boozy sugary drink with a decent scent and look, and dangerous drinkability. I used to get sixers of this for $8 back in college, and many a blurry night were spent in its embrace
