Notes:
This out-of-this-world ale is a galactic blast from the glass, a Citra supernova in the sky, jettisoning lupulin lusciousness through the cosmos and across the universe of your palate. Enter its bitter orbit and we'll all float on, okay? Cheers!

Amber color leaning toward copper, thin white head with an ok lace. Smells like a pine forest and taste is piney and grapefruit. A solid West coast IPA, bitter and sweet, a little heat from the alcohol, way too easy to drink for an 8% beer. Definitely worth a try

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker.
Appearance
Blonde. Excellent clarity. Short white head. Yeast chunks bounce around.
Nose
Mango, dank, pine, peach, and caramel.
Taste
Sticky dank and pine sap. Overripe mango and peach syrup. Firm caramel maltiness with touches of toffee. Finishes like earthy, dirty weed.
Mouthfeel
Full bodied, sticky, silky, and lightly bitter.
Overall
Tastes like weed.

“Super Cluster” -- Double IPA, Lagunitas
Stamp on bottom on can is absurdly indecipherable, but is no doubt fresh; was purchased a week ago and subsequently consumed in a tulip glass.
Look
Deep gold, with a little copper. Slightly opaque. One-finger head of white that dissipates slowly. Noticeable lacing. A good-looking beer.
Smell
Citrus. Grapefruit. Tangerine. Hoppy.
Taste
Follows the nose, but more tropical and a touch of dank. Lots of citra -- mostly grapefruit, orange rind, and melon. A good malt backbone, too, with a little breadiness. Pleasing and unique.
Feel
Crisp. Refreshing. Decent carbonation and mouthfeel. A little bitter and a little sticky -- nonetheless, very smooth for 8%. Dare I say, an almost sessionable DIPA?
Overall
This is a very good DIPA. In fact, I’d argue that -- dollar-for-dollar -- it may be the best widely-distributed DIPA on the market. I bought a six-pack for $8.99. That’s $1.50 a bottle! What other DIPA is as good for that price? Which is why I gave Super Cluster a “5” here -- because exceptional price points should count for something. Fantastic brew that I hope is available year round.

S - Classic Lagunitas dank hop bite.

F - Medium body and carbonation
O - Not much different than a lot of Lagunitas double IPAs, so therefore its damn good

Poured from a can into a pub glass...
Others have called this hazy. My pour was nearly clear with a nice fluffy white head. Good persistent lacing throughout.
Aroma is very hop (floral, mostly) forward. Malts and booze in the background.
The flavor is very malty, initially, but then the floral and citrus hops take over and bring it home. A nice balanced flavor, and a simple one as well.
The mouthfeel is excellent. Well carbonated, crisp, light, and mildly dry.
Overall, a nice DIPA.

This is a fun beer Hard to pass up buying a six pack of cans with a nice low price. Citrus is powerful in the scent upon opening the can. Taste is maltier with a little boozy feel. You can taste this imperial iPA but you won’t feel it right away. Not bitter and kind of smooth as it warms. Enjoyable night time drink. Good stuff

Appearance: Gold, lots of particles, ok head.
Smell: Danky, citrus.
Taste: Mildly sweet citrus to start then a little more bitterness than expected. A little bit of dankness in the taste too. Full feeling.
Overall: Lagunitas makes solid hoppy beers and I needed some beer for the week. Big citra taste and a bit of old school double IPA bitterness action here. Works for me!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Nearly clear light golden pour with big foamy white head. Great lacing... a little sediment in the pour.
S: Light and citrusy.. lemon and orange rind.
T/F: Crackery malts/grains... pretty typical Lagunitas IPA feel. Citrusy and light hop profile. Modest bitterness... lighter floral character and a bit of resinous pine. Very balanced. Sticky on the tongue and medium bodied. ABV present... could be a bit better hidden.
O: A solid Lagunitas-style IPA. Good flavor and a strong blast of citra hops. A fun limited release that I'm glad we were able to snag in Pennsylvania.

This beer pours a pale copper with a large head. The aroma is softly fragrant, with notes of lemon peel, grapefruit peel, chamomile, white flowers, cracker malts, mandarin orange, and a bit of dusty hop character. The flavor is gentle, combining citrus and floral tones with very low bitterness. wit lots of mandarin orange and pine grapefruit peel and subtle flowery hints around the edges. The mouthfeel is light with frothy carbonation. Overall a nice beer, with lots of great flavor, though I could use a bit more bitterness for balance.

So damn good, and totally tastes like a Lagunitas beer. Pretty remarkable how reliable a brewery they've been even after "selling out" and getting huge. And they're definitely the best value going.
Poured from a month-old can.
Clean, clear, effervescent, golden, and soapy in the glass.
Dank, citrusy, tropical, piney, grassy, and sweet on the nose.
Sweet but perfectly balanced, citrusy, bitter, bready, peachy, pithy, and long-lasting on the tongue.
Feel is substantial, soft, velvety, and coating, but you can tell it's a little "lighter" on the IIPA spectrum.
Lagy almost never disappoints me. And though this beer isn’t a game changer or envelope pusher, it’s just plain fantastic.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit hops, lightly caramel malt, orange, pineapple, mango, kiwi. Flavor is pale malt with a hint of caramel, piney and citrus hops, orange, grapefruit, mango, light pineapple, lemon rind. Finishes with lightly resinous piney and citrus hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess. Another flavorful and hoppy offering from Lagunitas. There are nice tropical fruit notes, but the citrus dominates and aroma and both citrus and pine in the flavors. Great lingering herbal hop fruit flavors. Lagunitas has never let me down with IPAs and this is another very nice one.
