Appearance: a nice reddish orangish color. Good clarity and a generous off-white to tan head that leaves a bit in the way of lacing

Smell: sweet malts, caramel and sugars. Some fruity hops but not anything to much

Taste: malts malts and malts. Caramelly and toasty and brown sugary. Lots of sweetness from the malts up front. Some hoppiness that balances well. Some alcohol.

Mouthfeel: heavier side. Maybe some warming. Very creamy. Love the creaminess.

Overall: this is a killer beer at a killer price. I will certainly by one every time I see it. It reminds me why I love malty beers. Love the malt mixture and the creaminess. Must try for the big red and malt lovers

I had at Boulevard Tavern in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

A. It has a nice dark red color, semi-cloudy, with a big foamy white head that leaves behind some lacing. A few bubbles throughout.

S. It has a very strong flowery scent and some bready maltiness.

T/M. This is the kind of beer that gets better as it coats the palate after a few sips. Very sweet and malty, an organic grassiness to it. Some alcohol strong kick. Full bodied with a medium finish.

O. This is exactly what I would want out of a strong red ale. Absolutely nailed it, even if it's not my first choice of style.

Served from a bomber into a Moose Drool Shaker pint. A moderate pour produces a off-white, creamy head that billows over the rim of the glass. There's plenty of effervescence within the crystal clear amber-red brew.

Plenty of hops on the nose and on the palate, with definite grapefruit, floral, and spicy tones. Despite the high IBUs, the malt qualities shine through, blending with the citrusy hops to produce some hints of plum, with a backbone of biscuity, bready malt. The mouth feel is creamy and lingering, and mellows out the aftertaste.

This beer is extremely well-crafted. I'm not a big hophead, and I like the balance that's achieved here.
