Pours a clear golden color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is decent. Lacing is good. Has a clear piney, grapefruit aroma. Smells fresh. Strong grapefruit malty taste with a bitter piney hop. Aftertaste is very bitter/soapy. The freshness of the taste is not as strong as the aroma, but it is still somewhat fresh. It is definitely a beer for hop heads

Wowie. Quite simply, this is just a hot dog good beer. No, not Weinershnitzel, not Hebrew National, not that Ballpark junk... This is a quality, "hot dog" beer. Bitter like an ex with a yoga booty; hoppy like an ex after a vente pumpkin spiced latte... Yeah, Raul is feeling this.

Poured out of a 22 oz. Bomber 33 days after bottle date.

Color is amber with a barely visible white head, like a typical IPA. Citrus & Honey flavors can be smelled before the glass even reaches the nose. Smell is somewhat deceiving though as the hops dominate the taste.

Those flavors make this an incredibly smooth drink for an beer with 102 IBU and 8% ABV. Finish is very hoppy, so the beer can be enjoyed like a more traditional Double IPA. Exceptional aftertaste.

All in all one of the best and most versatile IPA's I've ever had. I know people who aren't huge IPA fans who love this beer. Great balance, can be sipped slowly and put back easily for a beer of it's caliber.
