A- Pours a beautiful, full golden hue with a full, 3 finger head. Head retains very well, and laces even better. Head is slightly off-white and frothy/creamy. Medium haze with a fair amount of light penetrating through.

S- Huge, floral hop flavors blast the nostrils and dominate the scent through the entire smell. Slightly lighter, sweeter flavor is under the hops towards the end, giving a somewhat honey-like scent, but it's barely noticeable through all of the hops.

T- Assaults the tongue with big, yet not entirely overpowering, hops bitterness off the bat. Hops block out any other flavors throughout the drink, and transform from strong and sharp, to lingering and consistent. Big pine notes the whole time leave their imprint with a lingering aftertaste of bitter hops.

M- Sticky and lighter, this one goes down easy and with no noticeable heat or bite from the alcohol. Lingering hops on the palate give this beer a slightly heavier feel, but not enough to make it feel thick or sit heavy in the stomach.

Overall, this one lives up to the hype. Solid IPA from out west is what I've come to expect. Not quite as balanced as Pliny, but very good for an aggressively hoppy beer.

I poured this bomber into my snifter at cellar temperature.

Hop Stoopid is a glowing golden orange color with stunning clarity. It's head is white and about two fingers deep. Looks "IPA-ish."

The aroma has a strong, floral citrus aspect and TONS of hops. There's also a bit of honey and a little pine.

A sip of this DIPA packs a mouth-wateringly delicious overdose of herbal hops, with a tinge of honey sweetness. The aftertaste has sweet and bitter orange and pine bitterness, but nothing like what I expected from the 102 IBUs. It's really not THAT bitter. The alcohol is VERY well hidden, by the way.

It's got a rich body with really "comfy" carbonation.

Ever since I first had Hop Stoopid, I knew that it would set my standard for DIPAs. It has "all the basics" of the style and begs me to take drink after drink, let me tell ya. This beer was brewed with one purpose... one which it fulfills exceptionally well: to deliver hops unto beer drinkers everywhere.
