Poured from a bomber into to pint glass.

A - Great clear Orange color. I did an awful job pouring the beer so there was only a thin head but it still managed to leave great lacing on the glass.

S - Awesome nose. Big hop aromas floral and citrus big time. Hardy any sweetness, all hops.

T - Great hop flavor with tons a grapefruit taste. Hops hit you right away then slightly yield to some sweetness. On the finish there is more hops that really taste exactly like the smell of the beer. It seems like the beer comes full circle. A quite tasty beer.

M - I do wish it was just slightly more carbonated but its not a deal breaker what so ever. Other wise it has a nice light feel that is dry enough to make you want another sip. In the time it has taken me to write this up I have gone from a full pint to about one inch of beer left.

O - Solid Solid brew. Gotta give it a try if your a fan of Lag or ipas in general.

22 poured into a pilsner.

A - crystal clear, not quite copper, maybe a light amber in color. head lasts and lasts; even at the bottom of the glass there's a solid 1/3 of an inch, with rings all down the side - looks very inviting

S- oily hops right up front, a hint of sweetness and grapefruit, a bitterness at the end that says not to sip, but to drink up!

T - thought i was gonna sip this one, but it really goes better when it's drank faster. full mouthfuls are a wash of hops, again a bit of grapefruit goodness. bitterness is just a tad too strong to make sipping an option for me. not really sensing any alcohol, which makes it potentially a bit of a surprise, given its abv.

M - smooth, a bit oily in a pleasing way. good, if a bit unsophisticated in its simplicity.

O - glad i finally tried this one. another solid offer from lagunitas, though a bit one dimensional . . . but i think it's presented that way, so i think they achieved their goal.

Thanks to my 2012 Secret Santa Montrosse for sending this beer my way. The beer was chilled and into a tulip it went.

A- The body of the beer is clear honey colored. The head is thick and white with major retention. Thick lacing marks this beers passage from my glass.

S- The hop aromas lead with floral notes giving way to fruity apricot, grapefruit and pine bringing in the rear.

T- The beer leads with a little sweetness that is swallowed up in pine resin and nowhere near the amount of fruity flavors. Bitterness is more than adequate to tame the malt. No alcohol noted in the flavor.

M- The body is medium and well carbonated. No alcohol is noted to the mouthfeel.

O- Not a bad beer drink but I will look elsewhere for my hop fix.
