We're going a bit blurry on this nebulous release... Hazy Memory is a cloudy IPA full of oats and smooth wheatly-esque-ish-ness, packed with some of the murkiest, juiciest, turbid Loral 291, Hallertau Blanc, Galaxy, and Citra hops. It's a huge flavor you won't forget!

Solid beer typical Lagunitas flair full of fruity hops, juicy body and a great balancing malt profile. Really love that its a DIPA the fuller body makes for a very juicy beer. I would have it again if the price is right!

12 oz can from Homebrewstuff. Golden body, light haze, lots of floaties. Small creamy head, chunky lacing. Aroma is light bready scent, mild sweetness. Taste brings mild hoppy notes, creamy textures. Lemon and grapefruit peel.

this is real good, cool packaging too, you dont see a lot of pint cans from these guys, rad art, love it all. nice hazy creamy pale straw colored pour with a tall white head on it airy and looking almost belgian, no visible sediment but this thing is pretty murky. the nose is awesome, pineapple juice, some almost noble hop dried grass clipping and spiciness, and then a key lime note before the sudsy starchy grains pop in. fruity in the flavor too, but not tangerine, white grape, and juicy white peach, low bitterness for lagunitas but not low bitterness for a hazy, more than a little of that on the finish, seemingly a slight yeast element here too towards the back end, not quite english but a little bready to me, different for them. there is some lingering oily hop character on the palate, not a burn or a greenness, but a deep saturated intensity that hits most prominently after the swallow. i like the oats and raw feeling wheat smoothing this out and making it so frothy and lathery, without making it heavy. i dont need the alcohol this strong, but its not exposed or anything either, i just end up a little overly drunk every time i get into this one. really solid hazy for a brewery who avoided them for so long, they did a great job with this. unique enough hop complexion to stand out, well refined but still real hazy, dialed in.

Lagunitas Brewing Co. "Hazy Memory"
1 pint can coded "011 1 2 5045 0401". Sampled on 18 March 2022.
Notes via stream of consciousness: As expected it's poured a cloudy golden colored body beneath a tenacious head of white. The aroma displays bready and sweetish malt along with tropical hop notes of passionfruit, pineapple, peach, and non-specific citrus. The flavor delivers additional notes of red grapefruit, orange, gooseberry, flowers, and dried grass and herbs. It's a touch spicy as well, and earthy in the dry finish. A stiff bitterness runs through it and although there's sweetish malt upfront it's balanced. In the mouth it's medium-full in body, or at least it feels that way because of the extra proteins, and smooth with a gentle carbonation. In the end it's nicely done with a good blend of fruity and "dank" hops.

Overall it's a good IPA. The mouth feel is prob the best part, it's like if Sunny D had carbonation. The flavor is almost great. I can taste the hops (yummy!) but the fruit flavor just hits me wrong; it's just a weird flavor. Kinda like prunes. Either way I still enjoyed the 4 pack of tall boys.

Appearance: A bit cloudy with a yellow/gold body, an average size white head and a fair amount of lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, tropical fruit, melon.
Taste: Some softer fruit encroaching on the tropical. Still solidly hoppy and murky. Malts providing a smooth mouthfeel.
Feel: Medium bodied with good depth.
Overall: Pretty decent. If I were doing a blind tasting, I might have guessed a DIPA.

Another tasty, way too easy drinking ipa from Lagunitas. Dangerously drinkable for an 8 percenter. Bought a four pack of pints. Make it in six packs and this becomes a regular.
