Bottle was purchased at the Vintage Cellar in Blacksburg, VA during a recent beer haul.

Poured and enjoyed in a DFH Signature glass

A - Beer pours a semi-translucent, golden amber color. A half to three-quarters finger head that fades to a raged skim. Decent lacing left after sampling.

S - A faint malt aroma. Underwhelming.

T - A malt forward, moderately hoppy beer. A mix of various flavors that include a caramel-like sweetness, pine and a grassy/earthy taste. Very easy drinking. The ABV isn't noticeable.

M - Moderate carbonation. Medium consistency.

O - I'm a huge fan of Lagunitas but this beer just didn't do it for me. It's not that it isn't good, its just that it's a bit of a let-down . Lagunitas' Sucks was a top-5 beer for me last year but this pales in comparison, even though it's a different style. This is the first beer from them that I haven't raved about in my reviews.

Cheers!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter. Purchased at Nikki's liquors in north providence ri.

A- pours an amber , slightly hazy body with a medium 2" head that leaves some sticky lacing.

S- I'm straining to get a good whiff, but I'm getting some light citrus hoppiness, bread, lightly toasted malt aromas.

T- light caramel malt upfront which fades to a piny hop bitterness that lingers on the tongue for a while. Reminiscent of an autumn ale or pale ale.

M- kind of thick, medium low carbonation.

This brew is all over the place. Its closer to a pale ale. Good balance but I could only handle a few given the consistency. Worth a try nonetheless.
