We're going au naturel for the summer with the classic wheatley-esque-ish-ness brew you know and love. With a special dry-hopping of Cashmere, Citra & Mosaic on a bed of Centennial and Chinook. Juicy, catty, and leaves you with a hop scratch that you can't help but tickle with another taste. Does that clear things up?
Sure, it's fun to throw one of those glossy layers over things... like that Juno Plasta Mandalorian Grain filter. You know, the one that whitens your teeth, lifts your cheekbones, and only shows your good side. And who doesn't love to sit back and geek out on all the tweakage. Like when ya dial up the Clarity, push the Digital Saturation to 11%, and pull back the Fromage Filter by 2x. Then go max out the Attractivo Settings, select a new vacay background and tag your favorite Dogfluencer for those little spikes of serotonin. But sometimes it's nice to let it all be the way it really is. Raw. Unfiltered. Au naturel.

definitely not just unfiltered little sumpin, which existed from time to time before this one, but a special version, i think intentionally brewed to be hazy, maybe even done with a different yeast for that purpose, and definitely with a different, more unique dry hop than the original, although it still hits similar enough to fit the name, cool updating of a classic and a real enjoyable brew! very pale just like the original, more yellow than golden, not too dense or sedimented, and with a high and puffy white head. the nose is awesome with this dry hop, drippy juice ripe cantaloupe to me, lemon and tangerine, and green grape fruitiness, along with light pine and weed dankness in support, seems only minimally bitter, and the wheat in the mash is obvious, earthy and even a bit raw, grounds these hops well and stays dry. the ferment is clean but the yeast isnt neutral, compatible lightly baked and cereal notes from it. mango, navel orange, more melon, and light coconut in the flavor in front of the grain, definite tropical and mimosa vibes, but also still a northwestern hop character keeping it true enough to the original which is cool. great balance to this, drinks lighter than it should, and also hits a little more like a proper ipa than the original little sumpin does, that one is still tricky to pin down style wise. high carbonation is a good call, and overall this tastes and feels great. very drinkable for its strength and for being a hazy...

Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle with no dates, served in a tulip-shaped tumbler.
Appearance: The two finger head stays around until the end and leaves behind a lot of lacing all over. It's actually a pretty clear (for a 'hazy' beer), gold color.
Smell: It's fruity, with notes of orange, tangerine and grapefruit. A bit of malt comes through In the background.
Taste: There's a fruit sweetness of orange pulp, peach and tangerines. It's not bitter at all and it finishes with a bready malt note.
Mouthfeel: It's light to medium bodied and smooth with medium carbonation.
Overall: Even though this is touted as "hazy" and "unfiltered", it's nothing of the sort. A good beer, but it just falls outside the style it claims to be in. No one could be faulted for thinking this is a slightly tweaked version of regular A Little Sumpin' Sumpin'.

12oz bottle. No dating found. Picked up as a single from a selection of room temp beer.
Unfiltered, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head. Lots of white particles.
Aroma of floral hops and some citrus. Malty base.
Taste is floral hops, along with orange and grapefruit citrus. Big malty base says this beer may have some age.
Medium plus mouth feel. Some bite on the tongue. Drying in the aftertaste.
It's wet and an okay IPA, along with unfiltered particles.

I've always been a big fan of the OG Little Sumpin' so when I saw they came out with a hazy version I knew I had to try it immediately. It did not disappoint. The flavor is rich & bold and the mouthfeel is what you want from a hazy beer.
