Notes:
We're going au naturel for the summer with the classic wheatley-esque-ish-ness brew you know and love. With a special dry-hopping of Cashmere, Citra & Mosaic on a bed of Centennial and Chinook. Juicy, catty, and leaves you with a hop scratch that you can't help but tickle with another taste. Does that clear things up?
Sure, it's fun to throw one of those glossy layers over things... like that Juno Plasta Mandalorian Grain filter. You know, the one that whitens your teeth, lifts your cheekbones, and only shows your good side. And who doesn't love to sit back and geek out on all the tweakage. Like when ya dial up the Clarity, push the Digital Saturation to 11%, and pull back the Fromage Filter by 2x. Then go max out the Attractivo Settings, select a new vacay background and tag your favorite Dogfluencer for those little spikes of serotonin. But sometimes it's nice to let it all be the way it really is. Raw. Unfiltered. Au naturel.

Not bad, pretty nice. Good hazy look with lacing in the glass. Floral/fruity/orange smell that is light but nice. Taste follows smell but mouthfeel is not that good. Pretty thin and cold. Overall, pretty nice beer. Drinks well for 7.2.

Presentation: 12 oz. brown bottle with no dates, served in a tulip-shaped tumbler.
Appearance: The two finger head stays around until the end and leaves behind a lot of lacing all over. It's actually a pretty clear (for a 'hazy' beer), gold color.
Smell: It's fruity, with notes of orange, tangerine and grapefruit. A bit of malt comes through In the background.
Taste: There's a fruit sweetness of orange pulp, peach and tangerines. It's not bitter at all and it finishes with a bready malt note.
Mouthfeel: It's light to medium bodied and smooth with medium carbonation.
Overall: Even though this is touted as "hazy" and "unfiltered", it's nothing of the sort. A good beer, but it just falls outside the style it claims to be in. No one could be faulted for thinking this is a slightly tweaked version of regular A Little Sumpin' Sumpin'.

12oz bottle. No dating found. Picked up as a single from a selection of room temp beer.
Unfiltered, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head. Lots of white particles.
Aroma of floral hops and some citrus. Malty base.
Taste is floral hops, along with orange and grapefruit citrus. Big malty base says this beer may have some age.
Medium plus mouth feel. Some bite on the tongue. Drying in the aftertaste.
It's wet and an okay IPA, along with unfiltered particles.

I've always been a big fan of the OG Little Sumpin' so when I saw they came out with a hazy version I knew I had to try it immediately. It did not disappoint. The flavor is rich & bold and the mouthfeel is what you want from a hazy beer.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden color. A large finger length foam head retains well. There is sticky lacing.
The nose opens sweetly with notes of fruity and floral hops. Aromas of peach, apricot and citrus fruit. Notes of caramel, biscuity malt and woodsy hops.
Sweet overall with little bitterness. The creamy, caramel and biscuity malt supports fruity hops flavors of citrus and stone fruit. Notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach and apricot. Some piney, grassy and woodsy hops spices begin to develop. However, they don’t seem to have much bite. The finish is dry.
Medium bodied with a mostly smooth mouthfeel and semi juicy palate. The carbonation is moderate but seems to lose some fizzle.
Respect to Lagunitas and their overall output. However, this one in particular didn’t really do it for me.

12oz stubby bottle poured into a nonic; body is slightly-hazed yellow gold with ample carbonation and a small off-white head, little lacing; solid nose and flavors of pine, orange, pineapple, and grapefruit, fairly floral and hoppy with a subtle malt/wheat backbone and present hop bitterness. Certainly a decent drinker but nothing too special.

Nabbed at a Rouses Supermarket in Gretna, LA for $9.99 USD/sixer plus tax.
12 fl oz brown glass bottle with a red pry-off crown cap.
7.2% ABV. "Unfiltered." "Ale." Bottled 06/30 if I'm reading the Julian code right.
APPEARANCE: Transparent, actually. Not hazy or turbid per se, but a bit cloudy I guess. Far more clear than I imagined it'd be. Head is ~7cm and lasts ~5-7 minutes.
AROMA: I get floral aromatics from Centennial and Chinook. Dabbles in vague tropical fruit. Grassy. A bit oniony despite the fact Simcoe wasn't used. "Catty" isn't a descriptor I really use, but I see why their marketing applied the term...it does have that sort of grassy-meets-oniony thing going on people tend to use that adjective to refer to.
No pine from the Centennial nor any blueberry from the Mosaic. Citra seems completely wasted on it going by the aroma, and the aroma lacks the magic that Mosaic & Citra tend to offer in combination.
Aromatic intensity is average. Suggests an easy drinking brew with a nice but not dazzling hop profile.
TASTE & TEXTURE: Grass, muted mango, something almost onion/garlic/shallot family-redolent, floral hop flavours, pale malt, probably wheat.
Vague coconut and melon are present...the Cashmere hops seem to dominate and that's the least interesting varietal they used; what a shame.
I don't think Mosaic, Citra, or Centennial are well showcased in this beer at all...there's no blueberry, citrus/grapefruit, pine, or resin to it at all. Just grassiness and floral hops dominate, which is more what I'd expect from something like a German IPL. Lacks hop pungency and depth of hop flavour.
Not tropical fruit redolent. Not pithy or bitter.
Pale malt/2-row and wheat are all I get maltwise.
It's not well balanced or well executed, lacking sufficient hop pungency and not bringing much to the table in terms of flavour intensity, complexity, or well showcased hop varietals.
Medium-bodied, smooth, wet, not unrefreshing, well carbonated. Not oily or pulpy.
Doesn't elevate the beer as a whole or accentuate specific flavours therein, but there are no overt flaws in this texture.
OVERALL: Making this Cashmere-emphatic was just the wrong call period. It's drinkable for what it is, but I prefer plain Little Sumpin' Sumpin' and every other variant thereof I've tried over this. I'm used to Lagunitas' beers being reliably good if not great, but this is a rare disappointment even if it is generally enjoyable...I just expected so much better hopwise.
