Optics are fine, maybe a bit flat. Aroma is just basic crystal malt with a dash of citrus hops. Very simple & straightforward beer, does reinvent the wheel, malt maybe is a tad sweet & the hops could assert themselves a little more but it is an easy drinker that doesn't miss any marks.

Pours a clear orange gold with a small white head. Smells of sweet malt, citrus, and mild hops. Taste is citrus peel, sweet malts, bitter hops, and maybe caramel. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall this is a pretty great APA, which is not surprise from Lagunitas.

Light, golden amber, mostly clear, with some floating particles. Foamy head with streak lacing. Aroma is biscuit malt and citrus, hints of stone and tropical fruit. Flavor is citrus, bread, grass, and spice. Well balanced and very drinkable. Juicy and resinous, but not overly bitter. Just right! A very good beer overall.

Almost perfectly clear yellow-orange body, soapy white head, intricate webs of lace stick to the glass. Nose gives off lemon, herbs, butter, orange peel, melon, light malt nearly like wheat and pilsner. The flavor is predominantly bitter, also offering herbal, citric, slightly malty, and dank flavors. The body is light and finely, abundantly carbonated, dry.
I s'pose this is a good Pale Ale; favoring hoppy flavors but not to the extent of an IPA, kinda mild, balanced. It was all those, and even offered a great variety of hoppy flavors, and yet it failed to tickle my sweet spot. Perhaps it would be great on a hot day, but as it was the mild manner of each flavor didn't capture my attention.

It pours a clear golden color with a piney citrus smell. The taste is also piney citus taste (wife thinks grapefruit) and a good bitterness from the hops. Moutful is thin but not watery, the head last the whole way through. Overall a nice drink just not overwhelming to me.

On tap @ Melting Pot, Boise ID.

A: Chill-hazed but still fairly clear gold with white head and lacing.

S: Fairly floral and citrusy, touch of pine needle, with a crackery pale malt backbone.

T: Follows the nose, clean and floral hoppiness with that same malt character as the aroma.

MF: Light and effervescent, refreshing and adequate for a pale ale.

O: Good, doesn't do anything earth-shattering, but does drink easily.

Pours the color of straw with a smallish head that leaves a lovely lacing behind. Lots of hops on the nose, with some citrus notes. Taste is fairly bitter for a pale ale, but at the same time the malts offer a decent overall balance. A very refreshing beer!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip

L: Pours a clear medium gold/copper with 3 fingers of foamy white head. Ample lacing.

S: Biscuits and bread. Citrus/lemon zest with tropical flowers and fruit.

T/F: Malty and bready... slightly tart citrus hops... a bit floral with notes of pine and mild spice but the citrus dominates. Not overly bitter. Sticky and effervescent. Finish is lemon rind.

O: A very easy drinking APA. Great citrus flavor.. not too strong or bitter. Good bang for your buck.

Clean looking pale with 1 finger white head, heavy lacing.

Smell is super clean , nice floral/citrusy hops smell.

Taste is very smooth with a nice balance to It , very little bitterness but big hop flavors.

Feel is thin but not watery, just fine for a pale ale.

Overall it's very smooth and drinkable , hides the alcohol well.. Would buy again.
