Appearance: gold with ample white head and substantial lacing

Aroma: Substantial citrus and piney hops with a bit of malt background.

Taste: Again, hops. Some bitterness but more aroma hops with a bit of malt. Think grapefruit/mango on a cracker. Some lingering bitterness but very well balanced.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium with ample carbonation.

Overall: This is a very good APA, one of my favorites.

A: Pours golden with a white head.

S: Orange and citrus rind in a simple but tasty smelling nose.

T: Orange, dry, almost a champagne like dryness, and quite pleasant. Not complex but good.

M: Medium bodied, not overly carbonated, perhaps a bit smooth.

O: Worth a try. Not one of the best pale ales out there, but drinkable and tasty.

New Dogtown is a clear golden orange color with a large and creamy white head that has good retention and leaves heavy lacing. Aroma consists of a good deal of malts and white bread, with a bit of orange rinds.

Taste starts with grapefruit and orange rind, then stale bread and caramel malts, with a light bready, rindy, floral finish. Mouthfeel is a touch heavier than average with a bit above average carbonation, a bit grainy.
