Bomber, poured into a tulip.
See-thru golden body with fairly vigorous visual carbonation. 2 fingers of off-white head. OK retention and lacing.
MASSIVE grapefruit aromas that jump right out of the glass. I could smell this stuff when my nose got within a couple of feet of it. Pine takes a backseat (way in the back), but is present also.
Huge grapefruit again in the mouth, but it's sweetened up a bit with orange and pineapple juiciness. A small amount of pine bitterness manages to assert itself in spite of all that citrus. The malt backbone is lightly crisp and toasty. Great tasting stuff.
Medium body with active carbonation. Mouthfeel is pretty juicy, and citrus lingers halfway down the throat.
Overall impression: Great IPA. Love it.

I'm not drinking a 2009 Correction Ale right now. Just uploading an old review. Orange pour, 3/4" white head. Aroma hits you with that familiar Lagunitas hop blast.
Takes in all that citrus and pine feels right to your mouth. Bitter mouthfeel lasts throughout, malt bill is typical stuff, 2 row, pale and crystal. Bomber format doesn't bother me here, because Lagunitas is one of the few breweries that doesn't have a ridiculous price per oz schedule for their bombers.
