Not a big fan of the flavor. Had a skunky taste that was unpleasant to me. Possibly an old keg.

This is a very hopy bitter beer. Much more like a pale ale then the wheat style. Beautiful to look at, but then like so many women ruined once the mouth is involved.

Now for the review.

A: nice dark gold color, almost a bronzeish color. Lots of carbonation that doesn't feed much of a head.

S: Hopy with a lot of diactle. Can smell the alcohol on this beer.

T: Much of the same as the nose. Very thick hops with a lot of diactle. Some malts try to seep into the tongue as you let it sit there. The more it does the more it seems to be made of extracts for malts. Very bitter finish.

M: Very syrupy as it sits there and passes through. Thankfully it's a light bodied beer and doesn't leave much of a trail.

O: Can't say much good about this beer except that it's strong.

Great smell and look but I'm no hop head. The over the top IPA bitterness made me hand this one off. It's a no for me.

Is it just me, or do all Lagunitas taste pretty much the same? Like drinking a Xmas tree. This one was supposed to have some wheat in it....you'd never know by the taste. Not bitter, but very hoppy. Not worth the coin...unless you enjoy drinking pine flavored beer. I'm done with Lagunitas.
