A: Hazy orange with a small but lasting head

S: There's a lot going on here, but the lemon and pine definitely stick out.

T: It's just as hoppy as you'd expect, which is to say that it's really, really hoppy. There's a strong citrus flavor to it (lemon, really) and a pineapple aftertaste. I can definitely taste the caramel and bready flavors as well but those are clearly secondary.

F: The hops really "pop" in your mouth and the finish is very crisp. Feels pretty carbonated but honestly it could just be the hops.

Overall: I'm rarely a fan of super hoppy beers but this complex brew is definitely a keeper.

Pours a clear golden with a full head that laces well. Light nose of piney hops, with citrus in the background, against a touch of malt sweetness. Light body and well carbonated. Taste is mostly piney hops against some grapefruit and sweetness. Well balanced, but not very flavorful or complex overall. Clean finish with a bit of hop flavor and bitterness. Slight grapefruit bitterness tends to linger.
