Bottle into pint glass

Appearance- light gold, with orange hues, clear, 1 finger head hangs around a while

Aroma- Bright citrus, fruity, piney, earthy hops, some bready grains, very nice

Flavor- more pine here, juicy citrus hops, fairly bitter but very drinkable, slight malt backbone but theres a lot of hops going on

Mouthfeel- medium, slight astringency, fairy smooth

Overall- A damn tasty beer. Really closer to an IPA and for that reason its probable the best APWA I've had. Pretty solid all around and worth picking up.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Deep golden to orange with nice foamy head. Smell is amazing. Lots of bright citrus fruit with a hint a pine. Quite hoppy for a wheat beer but very tasty. Sour lemon tartness and bready with a full body. Some sweetness from the malt is present but it's balanced by the bready yeast and wheat, by the lemony sourness and by the hops. Not what I was expecting but very enjoyable.

A- Looks more like a lager than an ale, very light golden in color and white head, did not look like I'd enjoy it
S- Nice pale ale smell with good citrus tones, not the best, but above average
T- Very interesting beer. At first pour you can get a good amount of the wheat taste, but as you drink it, it becomes more of a pale ale dominated by hops. The wheat seems to come back if you take a break between sips.
M- On the lighter side of average for carbonation, a good smooth drinking beer, could have a few of these for sure.
O- Never had a Lagunitas beer and tried this on a recommendation. I was not disappointed. It was also my first pale ale wheat beer, and it held up well. For sure would have again and recommend it to anyone considering it.

I'm excited to taste this strong wheat beer, but if I know Lagunitas, it's just an IPA.

A-golden with a nice sticky white head

S-old aged hops and herbs. Smells like an old IPA. Good strength

T-take your average American pale wheat ale, add more booze and some hops with citrus and herbal notes. None of the flavors are too strong until the after-taste they build. The after-taste has more grains to it.

M-light and crisp. Medium carbonation

O-it's a good beer, probably best when fresh. The more you drink this, the better it becomes. It really starts to build a good citrus flavor.
