The proper title should be American Strong Wheat Ale! Weizenbock strength! From the bottle, it pours a golden color with a nice head. Dangerously easy to drink!

A - Golden orange, clear with white head that fades quickly with minimal lacing.

S - Fruit, mainly in the form of lemon and passion-fruit. Some resiny sour notes and pine, but also floral notes.

T - Bright fruit elements, mostly citrus, lemon and tangerine, but also tropical fruit like passion-fruit. After the fruit apexes, a thread of wheat pops up, but is quickly eclipsed by a mild bitter close.

M - Moderate carbonation, some mild drying, but generally clean and crisp.

O - A fine wheat that reminds more of a West Coast IPA than a typical wheat beer. Great.

Served this 12 oz. brown bottle in a Samuel Adams glass. No date. Lightly hazy body of apricot color. The moderate head left licks of lacing.

The smell was fantastic, juicy satsuma oranges. Bready and spicy. Floral and some sourness.

The taste was also of sweet oranges. Lingering bitterness. There was a subtle, smooth wheat flavor with a more assertive husky hops brightness in the finish. Well hidden alcohol.

The mouthfeel was medium in density with adequate carbonation. This was a unique American Wheat/IPA hybrid.

A - Pours dark blonde with big frothy 2 finger white head.

S - Fresh grapefruit and orange off the top. Pale malts and some fruit-strawberries and pineapple.

T - Green citrus hops wrap around a great pale malt. Hints of grain and lemon. Finished very crisp and clean.

M - Moderate carbonation, medium body, clean and zesty.

With all the citrus this would be a fantastic thirst qeuncher in the heat of the summer. I would have never known this was an American Pale.
