I really love sumpin' beers and I figured I'd give this one a try.
A - Nice orange color. Just slightly cloudy from dry hopping but still looked great with fine bright white head and significant lacing.
S - Starts off with a slight Belgian twinge but then the citrusy hops kick in. Some pine, and malt and maybe just a touch of sour.
T - Good flavor with just like the smell. The Belgian character is very subtle that just helps frame the great hop flavors. Citrus, lemon, and some pine are the most distinct but the malt is enough to give it a nice backbone. The finish has more of the slight tartness from the yeast but is complimentary to the hops.
M - Light to medium mouth-feel. The carbonation was strong and added a slight acidity to the tart character. It finishes pretty crisp with the bitterness and tart character.
Overall, a very good beer. It isn't a "sour" beer by any means but it does have a light Belgian-tart character that goes with the citrusy hops. I prefer my hops to be the showcase but this is pretty good either way. I would suggest you stick with their IPA or a lil' sumpin' Extra IPA but if you've had those go with this one.

The beer that made me fall in love with craft beer. So sad it's been discontinued but always hoping for a rebirth

Pours a clear reddish-brown color with little head. Scent is of citrus and hops, with the taste surprisingly bitter. Light-medium mouthfeel and an aftertaste dominated by bitter hops
