This beer pours golden straw with a thick, light weight white head. Cities and go aroma, mostly lemon. Flavorous, it sort of lacks. Doesn't represent the aroma. The bitterness over powers everything. Not that that's a bad thing. Nice champagne carbonation. At 4.7 ABV, a great summer sessionable drink.

a: light golden pour surprised me. nice bright white head that leaves a beautiful lace. slight haze as well.

s: fruity hoppiness right away. light grapefruit and citrus with a touch of lemon zest. finish has a slight breadiness, well more like a cake-like smell. reminds me of Alpine beers.

t: citrus flavors and breadiness. almost has like a rubbery taste to it. bitterness is to a minimum on the finish. slightly piney.

mf: thin, almost watery. carbonation was somewhat low to me. got a little creamy halfway. finish is medium dry.

o: it has its pros and cons for me. very sessionable, but i think i prefer Stones Go To IPA.

Appearance: It has a nice semi-hazy golden color to it. It has a nice thick white head that dies down moderately and leaves some nice lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, pine and some light bready malts. Smells great!

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some citrus, light grapefruit, floral notes, a very faint piney bitterness and some light bready malts on the back.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas. A solid session IPA.

Pours a light straw color with a decent size white foam head with pretty good retention. Good lacing. Lots of visible carbonation. So far this one resembles more of a Belgian style. Nose is fresh citrus, with hints of grass and floral hops. Just a slight hint of pine and sweet caramel malts. Taste is very watery and citrus forward (par for the course, no criticism here). Led by lemon zest and grapefruit. A little bit more sweetness and bitterness than expected for a session beer. A bit of pine resin keeps it from being too watery. This one is very light bodied, and not as much carbonation as I expected from the appearance. Although I am not the biggest fan of session beers, this might be the best one I've had and could turn me on to more of them.

Lagunitas DayTime has a thin, white head, a yellow-gold appearance, with even a slight green hue, some streaming bubbles, and fairly heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of strong hop resin, pine, grapefruit, and white bread. The flavor is of all those elements, but to a lesser strength. Bitterness isn’t particularly strong, here. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Lagunitas DayTime finishes mostly dry, a bit tart, and somewhat dull.
