On cask at Lagunitas Brewery/Taproom. Pours like a cask ale, without palpable carbonation and warm. Usual orange like appearance for a Lagunitas hoppy brew. Aroma is enjoyable, you wish there was carbonation to give it more ofa vessel to get the hop aromatics flowing. The Simcoe isn't harsh, I don't know whether this was a single hop or not, but I think there are Amarillo's helping out with the dry hop aroma.

Taste, hey, its exactly what you would expect, its hoppy, floral, pungent, a little sticky ickyish, one of the many hallmarks of Lagunitas ales. Pine is effervescent, even if the carbonation is not. A little minty oil to it as well. I liked it, but it also made me wonder how good this would be if they gave it the American treatment (colder, carbonated) instead of on cask. The bitterness was relatively low for how vibrant the hops were. Just another one of many, many good hoppy beers that Lagunitas makes, hopefully we'll see it again in other formats.

Light orange color, similar to the regular pale ale, almost no carbonation, cask bro. Aroma was solid, earthy Simcoe hops, tame wood.

All the usual Lagunitas hallmarks, resiny dank pine hop flavors, ample but not overboard bitterness, solid abv, sticky, full fledged hop assault. Would buy a 6 pack if carbonated.
