Lil Abner's is a legendary hole in the wall joint right in the heart of Arbutus.

When you walk in, you know it's a local joint by the carpeting and the local head behind the counter selling cigs and lottery tickets mostly. Place looks like a relic from the early 80's. They always greet you with a hello.

They have a small selection of liquors, (including a scary looking house brand) and a litte bit of wine. In the back, they have a walk-in beer cooler that is mostly stocked with American Adjuncts and a few imports. I have seen a few micro-brews in there from time to time, but mostly just a solid workingman's stop on the way home from a day in the salt mines.

They definitely have Natty Boh hon.
