The first time we were here, we could not stay, because we were meeting people, and got the place wrong. But as we looked bewilderedly around for the people that were not there, we noted that we would certainly return, because the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the decor was rustic, and relaxing, the food looked tasty, and the wine and beer lists seemed selective and fairly priced.
We had the chance to return when we learned that they were offering glasses of Angel Share and Gift of the Magi for $4.
We met with a few friends, and were able to snag a table. We ordered a cheese pizza for snackage, although there is a lot more on this menu that I hope we explore soon, including wine/beer tastings.
The cool thing here is that the bottles are priced at about what they woud be at the grocery store. You can even browse the selection yourself before making your choice.
They were pretty busy that night, but the service was still relatively slow, since you would assume that they would be used to serving all of their tables... but I would give them the benefit of the doubt, they were probably just understaffed.
All-in-all this is a great place to grab a bottle, or get a great pint for a good price.
