Repete's is my multiple-times-a-week stop in Holland.

It's a dingy double-lot on the corner of a strip mall.

You walk in to the sound of metal, or Bloodhound Gang, or sometimes in the day Classic Rock, absolutely blaring. It's pretty funny.

The folks who work there are completely down to earth and willing to help. About half of them are into craft beer to the point of being able to talk about brews and give good recommends. The ones who aren't are honest about it. You can return cans here the old-school way: just setting them at the edge of the counter and telling the fellas how many there are in the box, trust system.

Prices are honest: a 12 oz. of some craft standby, like a Bell's Amber, Sierra Nevada, etc. will be 1.49, 59, 69, 79, or 89. Imports and things that come in 4-packs are of course higher, but are priced honestly and sometimes a little flukily- I've gotten a DFH Palo Santo Marron for 1.89, for example :). Selection is great- they have 4 shelves of American craft stuff, and 2 shelves of imports. You can count on them to carry top of the line stuff from all over the midwest and further- they carry the whole Goose Island Belgian line, DFH, Ommegang, Dark Horse, Bell's, New Holland, ABC, Southern Tier, Founder's, North Peak, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Vivant, etc.

Overall, it's a funny flourescent-lit party store. In-and-out style. The spot for selection for North Side Holland, as far as I can tell.

Had this place pegged as a "go-to" on a recent business trip. Was not disappointed.

Located in a strip mall. Best feature, besides Rage Against the Machine blaring through the store, was the ability to make a mixed sixer out of anything in the store. Very nice.

Good selection of Bell's (including 25th anniversary), Shorts (including Key Lime Pie), and some local/regionals that don't make it outside the region much (Arbor Brewing).

Although help was not asked for, staff did ask if they could help me find anything.

Prices seemed about right for the area. Mixed sixer mark ups were not that bad. And they have a coupon on their website (10% off), which is nice.

Definite "go-to" when in the area.

I was on my way to New Holland when this place caught my eye. It sits a little off the main road on the corner of a strip mall.

The beer selection here seems to be on par with the other good beer places in MI. Lots of locals and domestic craft brews are available in both six packs or mix and match singles.

The people behind the counter didn't really offer any help, but I am fine with that.

The pricing seemed to be in line for the region. This would be a regular stop for me if I lived in the area.

Repete's Party Store is a nice little beer and liquor store that has a better than expected line of craft beer. As you walk into the store you will notice the shelves of beer right straight as you walk in. They had Bells, Founders, New Holland, Dark Horse, Shorts, Jolly Pumpkin, Sierra Nevada, Goose Island, Samuel Smith, Stone, North Coast, Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, Victory, and many others that I can't remember. The best part about this store is that you can take a single out of any pack of beer to purchase, it doesn't matter what it is, pull it and buy it. The only thing that would make this even better would be a pick a six discount as most of their beers seem to be a bit pricey. The only downside to this store is they weren't very helpful or knowledgeable. Before I went to the store, I called them asking if they had any Shorts seasonal beers. The lady simple responded to me with she had no idea, but she thought they did sell Shorts beer, she didn't even offer to go check. Also, while I was there making my purchase I asked the guy at the counter if they were going to be getting in Bell's Batch 9000 soon. His reply was that he just talked to his Bell's rep and that it wasn't out yet, he then asked me if I was sure it was called 9000 and not 8000. I informed him that Bell's has been selling Batch 9000 at the general store but he didn't want to hear it. Overall, anytime I am back in Holland on business I will be stopping in to see what all they have to offer. I was very pleasantly surprised by their selection.
