As good as Unsessionable was. 11% is well hidden, lots of citrus. Would love to do a side by side with unsessionable

Good double (triple?) IPA, but it's hot going down like a BBA stout.

12oz can, sample purchased a local packy.

Amazing looking head that leaves a whole lot of lacing on the glass, deep amber hue shows bright when put up to the light. Stone fruit, grapefruit rind, floral alcohol, bread, faint caramel, and some apple skin in the nose. Smooth and boozy, creamy mouth feel opens up to a very potent, boozy, bitter, and slightly juicy brew. More of all that in the finish, booziness is very much in your face ... glad they kept up with the bitterness. Quite the beer.

Pours clear, amber in color with ½ inch head. Taste is toffee, pine, herbal hops, and honey. Heavy bodied, moderate carbonation, nice combination of sweet and bitter. Would think I was drinking an American barleywine if I did not know better. Complex, tasty, and one I will get again. I generally like Revolution’s beers and this one is another winner.

Revolution has crafted this beer about as well as can be done for something clocking in at 11% . . . I was expecting big boozy syrupy mess but I didn't find it here. Granted it's not something I want to drink all the time but it does avoid all the usual harsh qualities I commonly find in these ultra big ipa's. Well done.

Has a good amber hue. The smell has a citrus tang, more obvious after the head diminishes, also depends on the temp of the beer, more fragrant as it warms. Being canned, it is hard to determine if the head is from the can be moved a lot or a natural by-product...the foam is a little thicker and creamier than some. Has good mouth feel, definite body. For a high ABV, this has a good hop flavor, doesn't come across as a Barleywine. I've tried making some high ABV hops, this is one I am for a goal.

12oz can poured into a pint glass at The Bad Apple here in Chicago. Wrong glassware choice, but my server didn't seem to know much about beer so it's forgivable.

Look: Deep reddish/amber color, one finger of off-white head, only slightly thick/cloudy, can see through it fairly well.

Smell: Earthy/resiny hops, sweet malts come through strongly, ABV is noticeable.

Taste: Strong malt sweetness is immediately apparent to balance the hop bomb that this beer is. Comes off on the sweet side, somewhat akin to some of the years of Dogfish Head 120. Not that much lingering bitterness due to all the sweetness, which may contradict other reviews but I drink a TON of crazy hoppy beers so my perspective is skewed like any hop head. Super citrusy, piney, and earthy hops abound. Pretty heavy but pretty delicious.

Mouthfeel: Thick, syrupy, heavy body. Medium carbonation. Solid.

Overall: Well, 1Z Not Enuff. I had three of these in one sitting. I did like the Unsessionable better, but this is pretty delicious. If you're a hop head it's a must-have but it was on the sweet side for me.
