Amazing beer.
Poured from a 16 oz beer that was bottled 9/2019.
Tropical aftertaste with an excellent mouthfeel. One of the better "hazy" beers I have drank.
Highly recommend if you can get it fresh.

Poured from a 12oz can with a canned on date of 8/23/18; into a pub glass.
Appearance- an oily gold with several bubble streams clinging to a thin soapy white head; lacing is strong.
Smell - mild tropical and citrus along with a touch of pine tree.
Taste - grapefruit meshed with juicy fruit gum and the pine is subtle!
Feel - very hop forward bitter feel with nice carbonation and a slightly dry finish!
Overall- well put together IPA, nothing outrageous, just a very quality offering!

I will need to rate this one again since after tasting I realized that this one's been lurking in the 'ol beer fridge for more than a year. Fill date is August of 2017. Or maybe I just grabbed an old can at the local emporium. SO PLEASE NOTE THIS REVIEW IS FOR MY RECORDS ONLY. Or something.
So, grading on the curve, this is pretty middle of the road. Maybe a fresher can would have some more outstanding characteristics of the mosaic hops. I'll try to revisit.

12 oz can with a 26 June 2018 fill date stamp served in a pint glass.
Pours amber with a tall, creamy, off-white head. Great lacing and good retention.
Moderately strong, complex aroma featuring, of course, hops.
Moderate-mild bitterness for style with plenty of tropical and generic citrus in the taste and aftertaste, accompanied by some subtle bready and sweet malts.
Overall: almost the best of the 3-4 Revolution xxx-Hero beers I've tried so far.

12 oz can from the 12 pack of Heros. Poured into a standard pint, the beer is a chill hazed bronze with a dense and sticky off-white head. The beer has terrific lacing. It is a looker.
Nice aroma of Mosaic hops! Tropical fruits reminds me a bit of fresh juicy fruit gum. It’s inviting!
The taste leads with pineapple maybe papaya or guava. It is bitter but not overpowering. The malts add kind of a subtle almost sweet balance. Still the bitterness pushes to the forefront.
The mouth is oily and coating and it has a medium body.
Revolution does IPAs right!

All the heroes are great from Revolution. Would have to arrange a blind test to rank them sequentially.
$1.70 at Wegman's in mix-six.
a) Clear, deep orange-amber, with active white head that lasts and laces resonably. Good color.
s) It's a pungent aroma with abundance of tropical fruits including grapefruit rind.
t) Follows the aroma with added pine, wet grass, marmalade, mango, and berries. The caramel malt is balanced by the ample bitter, rendering my favoite kind of flavor see-saw. dank and fruity.
f) Medium bodied, good feel, tickle and finishes crisp and dry. The finish with lingering pine.
o) Mosaic truthfully rendered.

And yet another "Hero" this one with mosaic hops.
Poured a clear golden color, white head, nice lacing.
Very nice tropical fruit aromas and flavors.
It's another very good IPA, but seasonal.

Unfortunately realized after the fact that this can was 8 months old. Have to grade things based on what I’m actually drinking, but there is some really phenomenal potential here given that the hops have clearly fallen off massively and the strong (and excellent) malt backbone is really prevelant. Very sweet but there’s still some citrus pith and a little tropical fruit. Look and feel are excellent and I look very forward to trying a fresher sample in the future.

This beer pours a clear gold with a solid head. The aroma features bright citrus, with pine, pink grapefruit flesh, lemon peel, pineapple, and guava. The flavor leads with grapefruit and lemon peel, pineapple, and guava. The mouthfeel is light, crisp, and fizzy. Overall this is quite nice - a classic flavor combo for mosaic, and nicely dry, but lacking a bit in vibrancy. However, I failed to check dates before buying this, and the date is well past prime - I would love to see this when fresh.

Hazy orange in body with big white head. Aroma of candied oranges, honey, grass, pine. Tastes of citrus, rind, some honey, grass, pine, sweet mint, lemon cookies, medium bitterness. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Thanks to HIGHPA for this 12 oz. can that recently arrived via unfrozen box. Lifting in salute to our current temp of -7 headed for -14. But there are no fires, earthquakes, or hurricanes around here. Glass half full!
Actually, it’s about 3/4 full of lovely golden liquid, with no hint of northeast anything. Nose rings with citrus & tropical zing. Nice.
Mosaic Hero is a citrus lovers dream. Citrus is front, center, & running all the way through this brew, along with a bit of pine, orange peel, & an almost rye-like spicing. Mid-palate brings the dreaded earthy dankness, but it isn’t as mud-in-my-mouth as some, again, more like rye than anything else. Moderate bitterness arrives via the finish, along with some saw grass & grapefruit. An easy drinker that gives the lie to the 7.5% ABV.
Given this blind, I’d have sworn it was a rye IPA, & an excellent one at that. Lovely balance to the bitterness & flavor.
