Amazing beer.
Poured from a 16 oz beer that was bottled 9/2019.
Tropical aftertaste with an excellent mouthfeel. One of the better "hazy" beers I have drank.
Highly recommend if you can get it fresh.

Yeah buddy! Slap me stupid with bitter, juicy, citrus hops, then rock me like a rented mule! This thing can take my preoccupied mind, and put it square in the lala land where Chicago Cubs World Series Championships runith over! ...I like it. Enjoy BA's!

L - Mostly transparent, but slightly hazy glowing orange. Two fingers of white head.

S - Pine and tree bark with pineapple and resin.

T - Runs the gamut of Mosaic hops with not just pineapple and some clementine, but some nice hop oils and dank resin.

F - Goes down eays and is full-bodied and flavorful.

O - I wish it wasn't a one-off. Great drinkability and a full range of flavors.

A toasty orange color with a somewhat thin white head. Great, typical mosaic scent with lots of grapefruit. Taste is similar but there's a nicely balanced maltiness. The hops bring a bite but the malts a slight caramel sweetness. It's a solid highly drinkable beer but not mindblowing like a couple of others in the Hero series.

Update: Poured from a can to pint glass. Now, the scent is much sweeter, lots of candy. Taste is similar. This beer has gotten more interesting. Don't know if I can stay enamored of the candy quality after more than one, but I am liking more now than in the past.

Enjoyed on tap at the Kedzie taproom. Pours a lovely clear amber with a foamy white head. The aroma is fresh and pronounced: citrus, floral, herbal and a bit of caramel sweetness. So tasty. Lots of citrus notes with herbal and pine pith in the background. A slight onion/several note all backed up by the sweet malt. Mouthfeel is outstanding-medium, soft and full. Excellent beer.

Poured from a 12oz can dated 2-3-17

It is a very cloudy dark gold, to copper color. Large, frothy, off white head with great retention.

It smells pretty earthy/musty with over ripe tropical fruits and a significant biscuit/doughy backdrop. Slightly peppery. I would describe it mostly as mango, pineapple, and melon or grapefruit.

It is very spicy. Almost rye like. A lot of mango, some melon/cantelope, papaya, bready malts with a bit of berry like sweetness. A solid bitterness in the end.

Much heavier bodied than the other Heroes. Almost to an imperial level. Smooth though, with appropriate carbonation. The peppery tinge is a bit strong. Not a lot of resin feel.

This one is much darker, and produces a better head than the other variants. Outside of the spicey bite though, the Mosaic hops just don't pop like I expected. Very good, and my favorite of the variations, but probably not better than Anti Hero in my opinion.

Had on draft at Lillie Q, Chicago. Really impressed by this one! Very smooth drinking for such a hop bomb. Might be my new favorite in this "hero" series by revolution. Purchased a bomber of this, interested in comparing that to the draft version.

Poured a hazy amber color with a good amount of foamy white head that laces the glass. The smell is all malt, toffee and biscuits with a hint of pine. The flavor is really malt forward as well. You get roasty bread and a sweetness before a slight amount of bitterness. The feel is a bit more than medium but not quite full. This is a different type of IPA from all the hop bombs out there. Don't get me wrong, I love those but it's a nice change of pace and done very well.
