Canned on 12/12/17. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity; white head that fades leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are subtle. Mild blend of citrus and tropical fruits. Crackers and bread. Malts are there. The flavors are clean and refreshing. Grapefruit, lemon and pine is there. Some fresh grass in the mix. Malts are there, but the sharp hops outweigh the malts. Finishes dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation to active carbonation. It's very smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice IPA. It's not flashy, but it's well crafted. Once again, it's clean, crisp and refreshing. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. It's fitting for their "Hero series".

Pour is a translucent golden color, light tan head. Gorgeous IPA. Aromas are bright, dank, citrus hops, and a dollop of pine with a smidge of caramalt.

Taste is dank citrus, primarily oranges, but the pine really comes forward, which is nice, and a sturdy malt body. My favorite of the series thus far.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/21/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, light caramel, lightly toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.1%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not too aggressive. Classic C hop showcase with balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering. Never been disappointed by this series yet.

Pours an amber gold with a fuzzy head of foam.

Earthy, citrus, dank, pine resin.

Leans bitter in flavor with strong dank/resinous notes and a smidge of citrus character.

Medium-bodied, medium-high carbonation, crisp, refreshing.

Overall, leans a bit on the bitter end but definitely crushable.

I got this in a mixed 12pck from my local Meijer. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had tropical fruit sweetness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit salad ambiance. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid Hero.

Better than anti hero but lacking much of any aroma. Nice spicy hops on the palate though.

A: dark amber color with some lighter caramel colors toward the edge of the glass. Thin white head that fades quick

S: huge pineapple, apricot, guava, passion fruit to start. Big biscuity malt presence behind that. Very juicy smelling

T: grapefruit, sweet orange, mango, and pineapple upfront. Some herbal hops follow that along with some nice grainy flavors. Real nice biscuit malt backbone behind that. Awesome flavors

M: medium mouth with lower-mid carbonation

O: awesome American IPA here. Juicy yet balanced. Definitely give this a try
