Pours a crystal clear golden color. Two finger frothy white head dissipates ever so slowly leaving a bubbly sudsy hilly head as it collapses. Lovely white lacing clings to the glass as the beer is consumed.

Aroma is bright with notes of citrus, lemon, hints of pine and grass. There is some fruity character but its balanced with the piney notes providing a definite foil to the fruity notes.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange, tangerine, lemon, and lemongrass giving way to a grassy, piney hop back end and finish painted on a palette of a cracker malt backbone. Mild to moderate bitterness comes through on the back end. The bitterness lingers, but the flavors, especially the malt backbone disappear quite quickly.

Feel is bright, sprightly with moderate to heavy carbonation albeit it gently and not so harshly done. Semi-dry finish. Smooth feeling throughout.

Overall a few thoughts - this is a lovely IPA and quite flavorful. As a west coast style this is quite well done. That being said, its 6% and for me falls solidly in the IPA category and not so much a APA as its currently classified here. The can label is somewhat ambiguous, but I'm pretty confident that its an IPA. Too bad this was a one off - I'd definitely pick this one up again to scratch any hop itches that arise.

Pours a rather clear bronze/gold hue . Lightly creamy lacing. Smell is dank, piney, bitter. Taste is more of the same. Crisp, mouth watering, medium body. More of a Revolution style than Hop Butcher. Pretty good.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 20, 2019. Brewed with Amarillo, Chinook, Citra, Cashmere, Cryo Citra and Cryo Centennial hops at seven pounds per barrel. Smooth, clean and crackling with hops.

This is a west coast style IPA from Revolution and Hop Butcher, two of my favorite breweries. This beer is loaded with all kinds of hops but maybe a little overdone. There is nothing that really stands out about it. It comes out okay but I had higher expectations.
