Good beer, but as it was canned middle of August, it may have fallen a bit. Very hazy dark orange, slight amount of soft lacing. Juicy, hoppy, citrusy, slightly bitter on the nose. Taste is hoppy and citrusy with both sweetness and a bit of subtle bitterness. Light to medium bodied, kind of a dry finish, creamy, mouth filling. A very good beer, in that it’s got a bit of everything going on with nothing taking too much of the spotlight.

Really impressed by this hazy double ipa. Hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. I got aromas of passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, melon, orange, peach, mango, and grassy hops. Taste explodes onto the palate with sweet and juicy passion fruit, kiwi, pineapple, grapefruit, watermelon, melon, coconut peach, orange, mango, lime, lemon, with grassy and resinous hops. So vibrantly juicy, if it was not so sweet it would be even higher rated. The feel is hazy, juicy, cool, somewhat hoppy, and a little sugary.

Not usually a fan of hazy/NEIPA beers but this one was quite nice. The only area where I felt it was weak was it's minimal aroma. I would drink this one again no problem !

Tasted in a snifter from draft at Consume on September 11, 2019. Brewed in collaboration with Hop Butcher for the World. Fermented with British Ale V yeast and hit with two separate dry hops including Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado, and Sabro. A velvet smoothness conveys huge waves of tropical fruit and citrus.

Pours a bright yellow-golden color. Completely hazy and opaque. Two fingers of white foam collapse quickly leaving some sticky white lacing and a thin layer of sudsy foam on top of the beer.

Aroma is quite fruity - sweet notes of orange, tangerine and grapefruit waft across the nose with a slight hint of sugary sweetness.

Taste has notes of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango and orange rind. Slight grassy bitterness comes through on the back end with the bitterness building up on itself on the palate.

Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Mild to moderately carbonated. Slight hint of bitterness comes through on the back end.

Overall its a solid NE style IPA that does take great care to keep some bitterness to balance the sweetness. That being said, its a fine NE style IPA, but I found it muddled and still too sweet. Of these two Hop Butcher - Revolution collaborations the West Cost style - Base - was really outstanding. This tasted just like a generic NE style collaboration.

Canned 8/17/19; drank 8/27/19 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.

A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; thick, frothy lace.

Lemon, orange citrus, mild cane sugar, mild dry grass & faint booze heat notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Lemon & orange citrus flavors up front; mild cane sugar, mild dry grass & faint booze heat notes on the finish.

A really nice take on the NE IPA style. I'd have another!!

Loved the look of this beer. Nice bright orange color and hazy. This one included two of my favorite hops El Dorado and Sabro. Both took a backseat in this one to the Mosaic and Citra but there was a nice tropical smell and taste to this one. Just a slight touch of bitterness on the end. it really hide the 9% ABV very well. Nicely done by two of my favorite breweries.

Real dense bright orange color
Some head retention, good lacing
Very prominent tropical bouquet
Delicious juicy tastes of orange, melon, grapefruit, orange zest/rind, lemon
Dry finish, resinous, zesty.
I put this with king sue and m43 in taste.
But with more punch at 9 abv.
