Canned. Orange almost amber liquid with a white head. Nose is malty, peach, grapefruit, resin. Decent classic IPA, lots of malt taste with a pine resin bitterness. Quite enjoyable, crisp bubble and smooth texture.

12 oz can. Pours orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Citrusy, piney hops dominate the palate with bready malt and tropical fruit in the background. Finish is long and very hoppy. Excellent brew.

Maybe it was because I had just finished working and came home sweaty and thirsty, but this is one helluva beer if you ask me. Poured into an iPA glass, it was a good-looking beer. Not a hop bomb by any stretch, but there is a significant hop presence that starts piney and resinous and continues solidly from sip to swallow. I expected the finish to be bitter, but it wasn't. In fact, the biscuity malt came through very nicely. While it's not at all remi9niscent of the British, malt-forward IPA style, this is a damned good beer. And at 6.5%, it's totally sessionable. Hopheads will not be disappointed, nor will those who seek good taste, complexity, a refreshing finish and a masterful balance between hops and malt.

Reviewed from notes and this beer has been received several times throughout various trades. Most of the time this has been poured into a pint glass. However, once it was once poured into an IPA glass and it seemed like the head lasted too long. Anyways, here goes. The appearance was a nice golden amber to orange color with a one finger-ed white foamy head that dies within about a minute. The lacing was somewhat clingy yet left a decent stringy-ness about it. The smell was a nice authentic piney resinous bitter hops running in and out on my nose. There is a decent maltiness as the beer warms. The taste is bitter piney hops that end up allowing a nice sweet maltiness coming in to smooth things out a bit. There is a nice bitter and dry aftertaste that leads to the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium on the body and ends up showing a decent sessionable sort of quality about it. The carbonation is harsh like a good AIPA should be. Overall, if I ever moved to the Midwest and this was in my distro this would be a staple in my fridge at all times.

Clear, amber in color. Looks almost like apple cider. The head is white in color, but disappears quickly. Nose and taste are not very heavy in hops, but the flavor carries for a while. Good ipa
